OMG.... Now that's funny.....
Yeah... Part of the blame might be on dealer... But Polaris should have shipped with them...
Oh well, same dealer, so I figured you wouldn't have them Danna...
Gives me another reason to visit... Just need to find time!

Just checked mine yeah I'm good.
That story is all about my slingshot
Stopped by Alpha to get a short throw shifter and to show off my mad duct tape skills, apparently @Turbosling didn't think it was up to snuff so he "lend" me a pair of grommets.
Thanks Henry that right there is what i call going above and beyond.
I checked and my girl has her plugs inserted
Found out they took them from old one and put'em on the new one
so, is there any consensus about the empty threaded hole on the swing arm? Clearly it came empty and does go through into the same space that the grommets protect from dirt and water, but now that I know this I worry that just washing the Slingshot will get water into the interior of the swing arm.
So are people in agreement that it is best to put a bolt in there to seal the opening? or just leave it alone because clearly Polaris didnt think it was a big deal?

JMHO but I would recommend putting a bolt in there to keep crud out of your swingarm.

Seal it off, it is easy and not a big deal. I did mine a couple of years ago just to make it look finished.

Yes, a round allan head ,polished stainless steel
Stopped by my stealer today and told them I didn't get rubbers installed with the recall. They said they show them available from Polaris so they ordered mine. Service dude said he expects them to be here Friday....

Headed to Lowe's next stop. Getting Welter stealth exhaust installed tomorrow at the Welter exhaust shop!

The only Gromet that Polaris needs to get things sorted out with all these recalls
If you don't know who/What Grommet is check out the link.
Wallace and Gromit - Wikipedia
I'm not sure if Wallace & Grommet ever made it to the states, but it's British humour at its best, for kids and adults alike.
Everyone need a Grommet like this.
Looks familiar! But not sure I've seen it...
