Got a new passenger today, something to be said about a quality subwoofer. At least five times the base and clarity!
Looks good, what sub box are you using?

I just made a baffle board and using the pocket as the enclosure. Use my router table to copy the door Covering the pocket, and to cut the counter sink for the lip, and speaker. I used Dyna mat to deaden the pocket and sealed it with silicone. Surprised how well it sounds, Would definitely sound better if I would’ve spent time and fiberglass in a box, Took about 3 hours and $50 in parts. Yes I did seal the MDF with resin.
... a lot with the Texas head.
Man, you been hanging out with those San Antonio folks too much, not sure how you guys been playing...
I don't know why you are all complaining about the the heat! If you are the lucky owner of a 2020, you could own these, they're only $1199.99 EACH! https://slingshot.polaris.com/…tional/seats/2884290-vba/
got the status racing transmission covers installed and the cooling seat covers.
The new Polaris heated/cooled seats for the 2020 Slingshot appear to use technology from these guys - https://thermavance.com/. Their website even shows a military vest equipped with their technology so I'd imagine the same tech could be implemented in an aftermarket seat pad. Their product video shows a motorcycle seat, among others. IIRC, their technology reportedly requires under 100W in operation so around 7 Amps should power one seat. They say their technology doesn't require perforated upholstery unlike the older tech that also uses fans to help with the heating/cooling tech. Here's an example of the older approach from Katzkin which uses the older fan-assisted technology - https://thermavance.com/.
Hopefully, it wont take long for someone to offer an aftermarket seat pad at a more affordable price!

I imagine it would more appropriately be called a seat pack.
But, I like your thinking!
Reinstalled my Metricks SLR fender today. As you may recall I had a brace on the fender brake last month. Metricks repaired it at no cost , I just paid shipping. Shipped it to them on 7/9/20 and got it back today 8/17/20.
Picked up a few new toys at MV.
Video showing the cutting of the hood will come soon.

Hey wokka
Let us know how those vents work in wet conditions!
It will be hard to tell with my setup, since my front tires are so wide, I do tend to get some spray off of them, especially while turning.
We are in an open cockpit, you are going to get wet, and I don't think the hood vents is going to add a lot of extra water with the setup.
Dave@DDMWorks did mention that with these vents will release the high pressure that builds up under the hood there, it will help stop fender flap. I'll try to get things put back together soon and mount the gopro where we can video them and see how it works out

The top picture looks like they returned it to you frozen in a block of ice... 😆
That glossy look is fresh fiberglass on the repairs.
Got the new slotted, drilled and Black E Coated rotors on today that will be stock on all Plus 1 kits now and I almost forgot , sweated my ass off behind my Nascar on the 700 mile ride to Maggie last week So I grabbed a pair of Baker Air Wings for myself this time for the ride home and man can they move air in ! Don't think I'll run them all the time, just in the hot weather .
I use a similar design with a different controller. They work great when first activated and provide fresh air with a noticeable cooling effect, but I also find that sometimes there is so much heat in the cockpit that the cooling effect gets overwhelmed. Fortunately, after waiting a few minutes and turningthe fan back on, the cooling effect returns for a bit.
I picked up the Snailax brand of seat cushions and found the same. At first turn on......nice cool breeze across the butt and back. After the cockpit heats up, it moved warm air. Definitely better than without but, not what I was hoping for.
The cure:
My wife and I have a spritz bottle with water. Just spray down the back of your shirt and see the difference. Evaporative cooling!

Kev The Baker 'Air Wings' can also help keep the cold out... I've used them for 92,000+ miles.
