Bill most of the 'wind restrictors' I have seen installed were a solid piece of "plastic" and the guys I know of liked them. Do you have a picture of yours installed on the Slingshot? I don't have a restrictor or top, I do have an F4 5+ windshield which is probably as tall as your shield and I do have lots of 'air'.

In Northern Indiana (La Porte Co) probably about 110,000 people and we probably have more than twenty --- just very seldom see one one the roads. I've see many and know lots of them (since Feb 2015) but most just don't have them out much.

wjfyfe The wife and I got out several times a week just to get her out of the house. I was out working every day so not much changed for me other than 'rally' and longer rides. And yes we just did local rides but that helped keep her spirts up.

Hee hee, not when we're replacing the air filter maybe every five or six years. Sheesh, we're not even going to put 2,000 miles on the Grasshopper this year the way things are going! :S

Bill you need to get out and ride more.

Well it started out great, taking fourth load, temp bout 79, then driving up IH 35 south side of Austin, it was 83. We took the toll road around Austin and hit N IH 35 was 75. Now we drove 30 miles up IH 35 and with 20+ winds hitting us head on temp changed to 53. Guess that’s what I am gonna get moving from Hell’s Front Porch.

You will have more BETTER riding days in Northern AR. I ride even when the temps are down about 30° ... No snow means RIDE.

I don't know if Clint Eastwood actually authored this, but it expresses my sentiments.

    Good one ole Friends.
    Love this!

Mr. Eastwood has always had a way with words…..………

..even though his below comments are unusually thoughtful, reflective, & cultured
Preparing to say goodbye... a message from Clint Eastwood

    My Twilight Years at 90.

If you realize each day is a gift, you may be near my age. As I enjoy my twilight years, I am often struck by the inevitability that the party must end.

There will come a clear, cold morning when there isn't any "more"

No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat.

It seems to me that one of the important things to do before that morning comes, is to let everyone of your family and friends know that you care for them by finding simple ways to let them know your heartfelt beliefs and the guiding principles of your life so they can always say, "He was my friend, and I know where he stood"

So, just in case I'm gone tomorrow, please know this: I voted against, Biden, that incompetent, lying, flip-flopping, insincere, double-talking, radical socialist, terrorist excusing, bleeding heart, narcissistic, scientific and economic moron that spent eight years-in the White House with Obama trying to destroy our wonderful country and turn it into Muslim loving, socialist crap hole like he came from and I don’t mean Hawaii!

Participating in a gun buy-back program because you think criminals have too many guns is like having yourself castrated because you think your neighbors have too many kids.

    Regards, Clint

Make My Day -- Pass it on !

OK, I am bored! This is just to satisfy my curiosity of why did Polaris run the overflow coolant hose from the surge tank up to behind the radiator? The only answer my wee lil brain can come up with is if the engine overheated and coolant overflowed, the coolant would be dumped into the cooling fan, thus sending up a "steam" signal?

Probably not as bad as 'smoke signal'......

Expect the 'law suits' to be "wrapped" and delivered tomorrow.
