Looks like a chance on a Sling that I have been looking at online. I’m 8 hrs away but wondering if anyone in the area would be willing to put eyes on it and give me there opinion. Text me or give me a call or send me a message.
Also want to say thanks to everyone for the advice on the previous thread I had. Knowledge is invaluable and everyone truly helps out. Thanks
Darrellwokka and jamesgn One of these guys may be able to take a look..
When you want to get someone's attention @ as @Powlldb1 will send them an alert.

Question --- did you put the bills there or take them?????

nothing "classic", but I've got a 2006 Mustang, 2010 Camaro, 2011 Challenger. Those are not daily drivers. Mom drives a 2019 AWD turbo GT Stinger and I drive my 2015 Ram. Well, I don't drive the Ram all the time,.. I have a "company car", so the Ram only has 30,000 miles
Are you still the Sherriff ?

sounds good bud, we'll try and set something up if this covid crap ends. My son, daughter and wife have it right now. I've been tested 3 times and still neg. Been in lockdown for 2 weeks. Stay safe
Hope they have a real mild case...wife was sick for 3 days and weak for about 3 weeks, all is good now.

Looking forward to the riding.... Be in on Monday. Four Seasons motel

rabtech, I've been running an Alpha Turbo kit for years and I'm now getting constant exhaust smoke. I noticed the turbo is leaking oil as well now. Just removed it and sent it to Precision to get it repaired.
Before I found this thread, I was already looking at installing a scavenge pump as I figured it was a drain issue that finally took my turbo oil seals out. It's helpful you posted pics of the pump location you used as I was wondering where I could mount it. So thanks for that.
Question I have is do you have any pics to show how you ran the hoses? And just that pump in between turbo drain and the pan return was all you needed?
rabtech will send Rab a note to respond....

Don't follow close behind me I am having trouble missing stuff laying on the road. I keep forgetting and centering it and that big rear tire doesn't miss. It is tough getting it just right.
Put the object right under your buttttt.

If I was near by I would be glad to look at it I have worked with electronics and wiring for 55 years.
Nice 3 day 1302 mile drive up the cost...might want to wait a few days for it to warm up a little.

thank you sir, but I'm done. I have no idea where to look next
Shot of brandy this evening and in the morning a cup of coffee and it will all work out. You have one beautiful Slingshot and it will be up and running "with sound" in a short period of time.

Registered for the event. Room reserved at the Four Seasons. Ready to roll!
Any talk about a genesis book of word record for most slingshots?
I am planning on on being in to the Four Seasons on Mon 31 May 2021 about 3:00pm, looking forward to seeing and riding with you.

I'm 5ft 11in and use a F4 tinted 5+ I look thru the wind shield and have not had any thing from the 'street' hit me. That being said last fall riding down the county road i had a walnut (about 10 oz) fall out of the tree and hit me in the shoulder ... another time a acorn fell and caught me on top of the head. Love riding in the country --- that's 2 minor hits in 98,000 miles. I think I'll be OK

I did just haven’t heard back yet.......Patiently waiting.
Sometimes 'Facebook' people are SLOW to respond. I was going to look at one in Port Charlotte, FL last week but they did not respond --- I had to get back to the COLD North.

thank you sir, I checked every fuse and they are good. The sling starts up fine but the radio will not turn on. I checked to see if the radio wiring was getting power and it's not. Not sure where to go now,.. other then getting some gas and pulling it out back
You will get in figured out...

I guess you don't have motorcycles in MS..
Like Florida they don't ride in the summer time...
-
I’m in MS and yes, you want a top. The sun is brutal at times. I resisted getting one, but realized that I was using the heat as an excuse not to ride. Working a long day in the heat and then sitting in the Slingshot for a 45 minute commute was becoming more difficult.
I got my top and can tell that it will help a lot.
Other than that, we have a long riding season and that makes an SS even more fun.
I have been caught out in the rain, depending on the road you are on, it can get quite interesting. I don’t recommend it.
Be ready for questions at every stop. Kids love the Slingshot, lots of adults do too.Riding in the rain ALWAYS turn OFF the traction controls. With the three wheels a little bump and water can cause problems. With them off YOU have control instead of the computer.

I actually saw this one on Facebook earlier and not opposed to a 7 1/2 hr on way road trip. But again my dilemma that I am trying to think thru is yes this is a SL vs S with a top which is what I am wanting at some point. Is this a good deal compared to getting new one for 2k more. Also know one is Exotec and one is Polaris and that’s another big discuss from what I have been reading. I’m not in a all fired hurry but also think that the warmer that it gets the more the prices may go up but I could be wrong.
Make an offer!!!!
