Always been allot of talk about rear tires but I cannot find anything about fronts. I have set of 255/30/20 T1R1 Toyo's that have been on through 3 rear tires. They are about to see end of life and I will need to replace.
Any suggestions? Want something good in dry/wet and curves.
Thanks for the responses.
When I replaced my T1Rs I stayed with toyo and got the proxes sport . Have been happy with them in wet and dry

I think that first pic is Mabry Mill on the blue ridge parkway. Meadows of Dan if memory serves me (which doesn't happen often)

The brake magnetic switch will also have a light and the cruise control will not work.
When the magnetic switch failed on mine it didn't light anything except the brake lights. And yes it disables cruise control
-
So I was hoping a lot of you knowledgeable folks would chime in cause I know my brake lights stick. And I have the traction control light come on a lot I was hoping the mechanical fixed this issue cause how it is written on sling mods……DAM
To the best of my knowledge traction control relies on wheel speed sensors
-
Mine does too and after some research I also think that has to do with a magnetic brake switch which I will be upgrading to a manual brake switch. At the end of the day it’s just sensors and doesn’t effect too much too my knowledge and could be wrong
The magnetic brake switch will NOT cause a light on dash but will leave your brake lights on. Bad sensors in master cylinder will cause a light on dash. Both will disable cruise control.
Hope this helps

Took the sling to the Lite the Nite car show in Newark Ohio. It's a fund raiser to help pay to light the county court house for Christmas. I didn't hang around for the judging but had one of two slings present. The other was a box stock 18 in sunset red.
There were nearly 800 registered participants when I left.
And here's one of my sling with the courthouse lit for Christmas

I had problems with it in the mountains, no matter what it was set on. After it almost pushing me off of the road a few times, I quit using it.
You have followed me in the mountains when I was using it and I have pics

Trans fluid was changed about 3,000 miles ago . Clutch oil was never changed. SS has 10,000 miles
The reservoir is under the hood on the driver's side.
Check it!
-
So if it’s harder then usual to shift into gears is there anything else it could be?
Have you checked clutch fluid?

I have not seen the term nannies before, sorry im a new ss owner, please explain.
Traction control and stability control are referred to as nannies

Has anyone ever had to get there SYNCHROS replaced in there tranny? Did dealer do it or urself? If dealer how much was it?
I've talked with people that have changed transmissions due to synchro issues with 4th gear but haven't talked to anyone that repaired the issue.

Guess we might have had more fun then!
