I thought I saw a while back that someone did some canards solely to reduce the dirt and dust build up in the rear wheels...Was I dreaming that or does anyone remember who and what was done?
Was I dreaming or...

D-mod by @roadog1aj. I'm still thinking about doing these in diamond plate.
Cool look but undetermined effectiveness from what I can tell. Better at higher speeds of course...

I tried to tell you at SSITR, the best thing to do was to trade wheels with me and you could have avoided this needless heartache you are experiencing now!

Just the looks alone and the way they break up an otherwise BORING area.....makes it worth while!!
It would be great if the function equaled the looks, but we can't always have both. I think you should explore this further @SlingLow.
I think diamond plate dust/deflector mods would be the perfect match-up with your rear plate!!! -

So when are these available?!?!?!?
@garyw I am always game for a trade...especially if the wheels come with bags of money.

Perhaps we could kill two birds with one stone as they say. One of the big issues people have who are trying to hit top speeds in the Slingshot is the very high drag caused by the vacuum created at the back of the sling by its flat back. perhaps something could be made to not only help with the dust problem, but at the same time reduce the drag
perhaps something like the rear tail fairings you see on the back of some big rig trailers

My prototype didn’t function as well as I had hope on the back wheel dust. Taking another path, not completed or tested. I think @Ruptured Duck rear canards is definitely on the right track to the dust solution of the rear wheel. Thanks for the call out though

straight air from under the SS and then diverted is going to net the best and highest flow rate. Mine reduced it greatly but could be improved if I wasn't trying more of a down force defuser than breeze generator.

I'm ready to order a set - just post the link or advise the amount to PayPal
I'm also ready for @mniron hood vents (if I don't have to watch the install) - credit card standing by
Where the heck are the operators?

Exactly! I do believe both can be achieved but it is not a simple fix like I thought I could achieve earlier.
