Not exactly a mod but I polished up both of my cut down windscreens. Both looked kind of rough after all of the miles on them, probably around 50,000 miles on each. Both look pretty good, this is the third time to polish since last, sometime last summer. I have tried the Meguiar's Motor Plastic Cleaner/Polish and the Plexus Plastic Cleaner Protectant & Polish. Just for general clean up and polish I would say use the Plexus but for the rough such as mine was I would advise using the Meguiar's it does really work for the rough work.
What was today's Sling project-Mods , goodies....?

I think that looks sharp! Does it include a swingarm cover where it says Signature Series or is that a different piece?

Oops. My bad. Just blew up the photo and saw it's a 4 piece splitter. I was thinking it was the belt cover.

I think someone did a review on this a while back - wasn't a good one....
Perhaps these are a different vender - not sure.
Could be wrong but I think it had to do with fit.

Aw man pays to pay attention. My favorite thread. And I'm wondering why I haven't got any notifications. And I'm 23 pages behind. Lol
Hope all is well out there in sling world!!!!

Didn't add anything but a little shine. It's only 40° out so I cranked up the pellet stove in the garage and went over the sling with Groits cream defect remover to take out some swirl mark's. Rain tomorrow so put a coat of wax on her.

I am not sure if it is a true mod, but with all of this stay at home stuff going on and my wife having her work close down she got so bored that after I went to bed night before last she crocheted and cover for my stainless steel 1320 shift knob so that it doesnt get to hot when my slingshot is parked in the sun all day at my office.
a hat for my knob
She has been having difficulty adjusting to sleeping at night and being up in the day - being a casino table games dealer and working the 8:00pm to 4:00am shift for all of these years seems to have set her internal clock rather firmly as such its taking some time for her to adjust

Yes pulled it out of storage and went for a quick ride before washing it. It was filthy. Didn't cover it and I have one.

Hey Mark good to hear from you. How's the Fam and the new Slingshot Garage going? I wish I was where you is. Keep breathing the clean air!
Seriously I've been thinking about you guys -not sure what this summer will bring.
Your pal Doug
Smoke 'em if you got 'em!
Good times!!!

Well it's been awhile since I have been on the forums, and I sure hope everyone is safe and healthy!
I wanted to share my 1st day in April and the addition to the SS.
I ordered this from slingmods and BulletSpeed built this in record time, called me to let me know it was on its way.
As you can see below - the packaging shows they care. Super impressed!
Thanks to the slingmods instructional video and the craftsmanship of work - it was a super easy install.
My 18yr old daughter helped hold it in place, while I set a couple screws - and the rest is history!
Super stoked and love the look!
Here is to a new summer of cruising (once the world calms down and we can all see each other again!)
Stay safe, healthy and smiling!

Not a mod, but goodies certainly! My old driving gloves were pretty beat up with two years of sun & weather, so I got a new pair.
Riparo leather motorcycle gloves, black leather with red stitching. Very classy, just the thing for riding - once the weather starts cooperating anyway.

I pretty much wear driving gloves anytime I am in the Sling
