Added heating elements I bought on Amazon to my stock SL seats. Controlling them from my phone using the Neutrino black box. No other switches installed. Rode to work at 28 degrees in the morning and had to turn them down to 50% ten minutes down the road.

Do you have a link for the elements that you used?
I have been considering going this route but, after sifting through so many reviews, have concerns about the quality of so many being sold on Amazon, etc.
Thanks!

Has anyone taken apart a stock seat and can possibly offer thoughts on if these seat heaters are an option to install?

SoCal I haven't done that. On my stock seats there were no covers. I would think that if your seats have covers those should work. Is your seat covered?🤔

Nope! Bone stock. BUT they were put together so they must come apart. 🙂
BUT will they go back together again that is the question....

It's been quite a while since I looked at my original seats but as I recall they were some sort of solid foam. Another option would be to add covers over the pads

I looked at mine. I'm thinking they are glued in areas. I like the idea of heated seats and the option to remove sounds good to me. I just ordered a pair of these with a 2 socket cigarette adapter.

That probably works far better than placing heat pads under the seat cover, which is the route I'm going to take.....only since I invested in some nice seat covers, don't want to place anything over them but under them is my only option .......but now I'm thinking about should I invest in that Nuetrino Bluetooth fuse block to control it.....

The design of the 15/16 seat going to be real tricky to make that all work --- just the 'valley' in the seat and back portion.... Seat is a special formed material ????

I installed them in a couple of hours. Pulled out the staples along the bottom and part way up the sides. Had to cut the bottom pads a little to fit. Then stapled it all back together. No one would ever know the difference. I have a 2019 SL.
