  • Hi and welcome

I have the welter duel exhaust system and a wind restricter. I haven't had any fumes since all the crap burnt off the pipes.

    I have two different windshields

The factory 12“ straight one and the double bubbles. I cut them down because I have an issue looking through the curved plexiglass.

You windshield choice should be based on how much wind you want coming in the cock pit.

I use the double bubbles for summer because they let more air in between them. It hits your right shoulder and passenger left. The straight one for cooler weather. Sends the air to the top of my head and kinda under my roof. Its only 6” high.

The taller the windshield the less wind you get in the cock pit. It will shoot over the roof. In the summer it can get real warm if there isn't enough air coming in. I also use a vented seat pad to get air behind my back to keep me cooler. Makes a big difference.

I hope that helps you some.

  • I am new to the forum and have a question for you. I recently installed a Bullet Speed canvas roof. I am debating on getting a taller windshield or a rear Windrestrictor. Any advice as far as exhaust fumes and wind flow are concerned? I just saw on ur post that u have a rear one so I thought I would ask. Thanks!
