How to compete is to install a 10,000 due to driving 3/4 ton diesels. After having a hoist I don't know what I would do without it. Just to clean it even is so much easier to lift it and get at the bottom areas without bending and getting down.

...man I love my quick jack but that right there , would have me working on vehicles even if they weren't issues, just because of having that lift, love it

.......I would say anywhere near the George Washington Bridge or the Lincoln or Holland Tunnel , would place you near the city .......can't really help you more than that due to me never having to stay in one here......there are hotels near the airports also LaGuardia Airport or JFK Airport in Queens or Newark Airport in NJ....

.....August is my vacation time with the family , not sure if I'll be around much......I'm in Newport Rhode Island next weekend for the jazz fest , than in ATL in a couple weeks....My best advise to visiting Times Square , is do it as late as possible , less traffic , stays open 24/7 & you might find a parking spot to take in the sites

..... As far as parking in the city , it's a coin flip with parking garages ....I'm sure some might take em and some wont......I've been turned away with my Harley catching a nighttime jazz cruise , was willing to pay $30 to park , he said no .....I left it on the sidewalk , it's a bike lol .....it was there when I returned ! If you can't find a spot for your sling , my driveway has room but I'm in Mt Vernon about 30 min north of the city ....N.j. is your best bet if you want a hotel and a spot for your car/slingshot

We are going to NYC next month after the Poconos. We are trailering so staying in NYC is just about impossible. I went to a very illustrious X New Yorker - the world renowned fountain of knowledge Sir Bubblehead . He told me to go to Jersey - parking is easier and not far into the city.. wanna do a burnout in Time Square - it’s on my bucket list - Anybody know how much bail money I’m gonna need :00008172:

... Being that I'm retired from NYPD & I just rode thru Times Square Sat night in mines and I still know the climate in the city......be prepared to get locked up for doing a Burn Out .....fools throwing water on cops and they just walked away......after that backlash , you might get shot ....knowing them young idiots wearing that uniform now ! So beware......

......they are only good looking at night anyway but as with any lights (that are needed or for show) you can always put em on a on & off switch .......and if I got pulled over with your slingshot and had them on projecting down and they said something , I would just reply " Commissioner Gordon has summoned me, Gotham City needs me" and just wait for his facial expression b4 you hand over your license :/

.......Well if there's one thing I know from watching every original episode , is that when Commissioner Gordon wanted to summon Batman other than using the Bat Phone it was by way of shining that Bat signal in the sky ..........This will really set you apart ........ And what You've done so far is outstanding .......

Someone on here I believe has a thread about installing these in the bottom of the mirrors

Alright so how many can read the voltage while driving? I installed a Rockford Fosgate radio this winter and I am noticing that when driving it is reading a steady 13.2-13.3 volts. Is this correct? Coming from the car world I like to see 14.2-14.4 volts while running any help is greatly appreciated. I know the ECU has been flashed so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

......before I did the upgrade of my alternator to 240 amps (w/cables & yellow top Optima battery) I had the same readings on my volt gauge but after, I now get 14.2-14.4.......I believe the OEM alternator is only 140 amps.....

......so I call up Napa Auto to see if my Oil Pressure Switch is in and they say "YES IT IS RIGHT HERE IN MY HAND".......So I reply " Be there in 5 mins" I happened to be near by.....once I get there he remembers me and places what he thinks is my part BUT IT ISNT wtf........I gave him a look like MAN you messing with the wrong individual today........at which time once he noticed my look and after making another call he told me he's sorry and it will be here in 25 min...........Now I waited an hour and I'm not calling back, once I get there if it's not there, it will be cancelled and I'll travel 2 blocks to AutoZone where it's $8 cheaper ......

....waiting for tomorrow is like waiting for this damn Mega Million to hit and I don't play ......was going to move my Harley but no one wants to ride, so it's Hammock day......

That’s a self oiling electrical plug...Polaris invented it to keep the electrical connections from corroding...

.... Ok so what does that mean, I know it isn't supposed to be self oiling my floor.....I already been to Napa Auto Parts this morning and have AC Delco # D1849A Oil Pressure Switch arriving tomorrow....
