I average 34MPG on the computer and 32.5MGP using actual math. With 800 miles over the SSITR weekend, including the road course, I averaged 32.3MPG. Only engine mods are CAI and exhaust (stock header.) I've been getting these numbers since new.
Miles to Empty

MTE on the speedo display registers 290 MTE when I fill up. Drove 100 miles today and MTE only dropped to 248. How accurate do you guys think the MTE is in our SS's? I am running stock everything.
I think the only way that might work is if you started at 20,000 feet.

I can tell you that the Miles to Empty is mythical in my mind. But I think the Fuel bar is incorrect too. I have gone 160 miles on my boosted set up and it shows half a tank left. 10 miles later it shows me having 2 bars left. I know on the boosted set up, I really am pushing it if I go over 210 a tank. So I don't bother looking at any of it.

So I just filled it up with Exxon 93 we'll see what happens.

One of these days I'm going to put a full gas can on the passenger floorboard and see how far it really goes after it starts blinking.
From my experience when the light comes on you have right at one gallon left. This is on flat road at constant speed. Crooked roads it seems to come on earlier, so you would have a little more gas left. Also now after Bob's tune I get 29 mpg, this is on 3 separate trips of about 1,500 mile average on each. Before the tune I was getting 34 mpg on 2 trips of about 1,500 miles each. Bob and I do not understand why we ended up with the decrease in mileage, we talked about it again in Maggie Valley this year. It seems like most other people were getting a 3 to 4 mpg increase after the tune. These numbers come from the math not a computer (actual mileage)

What does the magic tune consist of?
-
@lrobbi What would change in miles to empty if I had 22 inch wheels?
You might get better miles to the Gallon ... 22 inch that are lighter than stock wheels ... not sure! - but this is an interesting discussion. Less resistance, less weight... "could" be better MTG ... the look is KILLER!!

You just have o look at things differently
I do it in gallons per hour I don't watch the gauge I watch the clock!
Somehow it just seems less painful -

Somehow it just seems less painfulI do not worry about the mpg, never did just wanted to know what it was. Now it is just smiles per mile!

I'm not a big MPH nut but it's nice to know how efficient it is...but my thing is it really doesn't matter because when the tank's empty if you want to ride again you gotta Fill the tank again.

Ya'll have big balls, I mean running your tank so low the chances of going lean due to low gas swirling around and sucking air are way too damn high and we all know what happens with an engine that goes lean.

Yep....even my wife knows not to let our Sling go below 1/4 tank, and do not tromp on the pedal in too high of a gear and lug the engine. Keep the tank as full as possible at all times, use only Premium fuel, and down-shift to a lower gear to keep the RPMs up if your gonna get jiggy with the turbo!!!! Simple, but important rules if you have a turbo...and maybe even good rules for a super charger as well.

Knock, knock! Who's there? Number 1 Cylinder!

^^^ Well, technically, only part of it is there...

Yeah... I complained about the computer awhile back... Sucks!
Edit: My computer sucks! Yes, I don't really care... But... MPG?

Like I tell everyone else - this thing is not much different from my old Pontiac GTO
