I think they designed the set screws to tighten against the inner nut with the socket portion of the cover securing the outer nut. See my annotated picture, below.

This piece should be 3D printed, machining it is over engineered.

We can 3D print some caps off for people that would want them, but the aluminum caps will be much nicer. The 3D printed ones will still have some lines in them and are not super smooth, but the ABS plastic can be sanded and painted for someone that wants to do it instead of waiting for the aluminum ones.
We are on the 4th revision of the caps right now and printing that version right now for test fitting. We have been making small changes to the cap for better fitment onto the hex nuts, better fitment to the rear sprocket and also changes to the set screw locations to make it more secure.
As for pricing we have all of the quotes back and the aluminum Mytoy caps will be $39 in black, clear or red powdercoat with stainless steel set screws and an allen key included.
