How long will it take to get your ride ready?
It has been way to long since we have had a long ride together my friend.
Stay safe see you soon
Shouldn't take long, but I don't know what the COVID situation is going to look like...

Not yet, I should be flying back June 26th or July 3rd... hopefully.
This just seems like it died... anything new on it?
Hey guys!! Thank you all for the Birthday wishes! I apologize for my absence lately. Coming here is just so hard while being separated from my Slingshot!!
Ross received an unexpected calendar from you a few days ago in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea!! Thank you so much! I have to find a place in the shop to hang it up and I will post a pic or two! I am grateful for you thinking of me!!
MACAWS I got your note and the stickers about a week or so ago. We have been super slammed here lately. Been working crazy long hours and really only getting off long enough to get some sleep and return right back to work. Really those are just excuses though, I should have dropped you a line sooner! Thank you for thinking of me!
@Goats_Hogs Brent, condolences.
Mitch, so sorry to be missing this, please have a little extra fun for me!
Hey Slingshot Family!! First I apologize for my absence. Things have been very busy lately! I have completed my transfer to Spain. My plan was to be a geo-bachelor, live on the ship and walk, take a cab or bum a ride to wherever I might need to go. As soon as I arrived I realized that wasn't realistic... NOTHING is close to the ship. So I had to make a quick purchase and I am now the new owner of a 2008 Peugeot 207. It's a diesel fueled 1.6L (I think) turbo engine. The military folks stationed here affectionately refer to these vehicles as Rota Beaters. I have also taken and passed my test for my Spanish driver's license, which is good for driving anywhere in the EU.
I got to visit Castillo de Luna, a castle built in the 13th century. I had no idea how much there was to do here, and I don't just mean Rota, but all of Spain. Or hell even Europe!
I've only been here two weeks, but it has been pretty busy. All this said, I am really missing the family and my Slingshot family as well. I'll do my best to keep in touch with everyone here as best I can.

Also, may be staying the obvious here, but if you turn the key with out starting the engine your voltmeter will read battery voltage, once you start the engine, you’ll be reading alternator output voltage.
Bounces between 13.3 and 13.4... if I’m running all 6 HIDs and bumping the stereo, I’ll see 13.2.
So you guys are just gonna keep on meeting up and having awesome times while I’m out of the country, eh? I see how it is!
I tried. Says you're in too many conversations and cannot be added. LOL. Clean out your mail!
The forum owner and admin is getting a “too many conversations” limit error?!?! That is too rich!!!
I think we made the right call canceling. Nobody wants to see how well their Sling will act as a boat!
So I developed my own designs and made changes to existing items (made them different and better IMO) so should I stop?
@mytoy I truly don't mean this as a dig, so please don't take it that way. The "changes to existing items" are just covers that bolt over "nuts" and reservoir covers. While they look amazing, it's not like you stole or ripped off somebody's intellectual property. You didn't steal somebody's new innovative idea that didn't have the ability to mass produce. You simply made another version of something that already exists in many forms. You can find covers galore on the interwebs. The clutch and brake resevoir covers you have had prototyped are extremely similar to pics I posted from etsy.com... they are literally a dime a dozen. What you really did, was save us time, energy and money having to order and test fit many to find the one we needed and just custom made them to fit our application.
I don't know if I'm explaining myself clearly or not, but what you are doing is just different.
@MACAWS events are set up for the purpose of getting Slingshot family together for the sake of being together, not so vendors can get their hands in your pockets
Thank you @dangerdarrell, @roadog1aj, @Ross, @Nemesis1701, @Painter, @MiM, @funinthesun, @FunCycle and @KayTwo
I will not be making MV this year, just too much going on and getting ready to ship out to Spain. I have to say though, I don't think I'd be going even if I weren't leaving the country. I think MV has lost what made it special in the beginning. Slingshot owners coming together to meet, show and discuss mods and just enjoying each others' company and the machine that brought us together. The event is starting to get a commercial feel to it and is loosing that intimacy that made it special in the beginning. I would propose that a new set of dates, without vendors, to get back to why we started going to MV to begin with.
Yeah, but somehow @MACAWS was able to do it for Slingshot Uncorked II, so I now feel that I need to go get more lessons from him on antirain dancing.
So sorry guys, I was really looking forward to getting a little ride time in with you all this weekend. Unfortunately, Mother Nature just doesn’t look like she wants to play nice with us.
Thanks @lrobbi for making the post on my behalf!
Again guys, I apologize.
Thank you @MACAWS
Thank you @SSREAPER and @adventure4me
