First really nice day in New England 2018 today, and everyone was out. I took the Sling to work and got a couple of motorcycle waves. I was surprised but thought it was great.
Anyone of you get waves?

Yes, and I generally initiate when I see the bikes first. I get a mixed response from most riders.

AKA Harleys never wave...........
I would say about 3/4 of the motorcycle riders wave
I'm tired of the wave...
Yeah all the time. In my experience, it is the Harley guys who give you the low thumbs up wave most of the time!!!

i'd say maybe 40-50% of the riders wave. both Harley and non Harley. I did , however, just get a "hey! get yourself a real bike... a harley" during a recent outing.... Efn dumbass... .
I would say around 40% of the time they wave... almost never when I initiated, so I stopped... I will always wave back.
I get waves 100% of the time. Yep.... Every bike rider, every car driver and every drunk scooter operator!
Hmmmmmm. I wonder if it has something to do with the topless porn star in the passenger seat? Hmmmmm.
I get them all the time... But I am the one to initiate!

I would say I get waves about 20-30% of the time. I never initiate, cuz I don’t see the Sling as a bike. I love my Sling, but I just don’t see it as a bike. I know some people don’t like that, but it’s just the way I see it. From the front it looks like a car, it drives like a car, it has a car motor. The only thing remotely bike about it is that it has a swing arm and is belt driven. That said, I’m not gonna be an asshole and not return a wave if a biker does wave. Also, I guess I have been lucky as far as not having received any comments to the effect of getting a real bike.
I usually initiate a wave and get a response back most of the time. Seems more often I get the wave back when I'm wearing my helmet (vs a hat). Also seems the MC passenger is waving back more enthusiastically (I assume because they wish they were in a SS vs on the back of a two-wheeler )
We just completed the ride home. New Mexico to East Tennessee. We waved at almost every bike along the way. Got a response from about half. For me, that’s good enough.

You’re supposed to wear clothes Jim
On the way home I didn’t get anymore motorcycle waves but I got convertible waves, including one from a corvette. This is funny... I don’t think anyone can figure out what Slingshots are by just driving by one....
I’ve done a complete study on this I get a motorcycle wave 11% of the time. I don’t ever initiate wave.
If you are from Terre Haute and have not come out to see me.... shame!!
Wife and I get waves all the time. But then again we are in Oklahoma where everybody waves at everybody else, often just a small tip of the hand. I am training myself to give a three finger wave for three wheels. But then again I'm just odd like that.
