Turbo kit

Good Luck with that universal kit.
There are several reasons you are going to have a hard time with any of those universal kits on Ebay. The first thing to look at is the exhaust manifold on that kit. The log style which is similar to the HAHN kit is not optimal for flow, but the way that the manifold in that kit positions the turbo is very likely to put the turbo right against the frame of the Slingshot. There is no mount for the intercooler and with the positioning of the inlet and outlet to the side, you are not going to be able to mount the intercooler in the normal place that most of us mount them, without doing some major cutting to get the tubes in and out. The tubing is just regular bends that are not specific to the Slingshot, and there is nothing included in that "kit" to get into the throttle body. Not to mention no tune or larger injectors are included. There are other things that are not included with that kit, like an exhaust, etc. Not saying that someone could not make that "kit" work, but there is going to be a lot of work to get this to run safely and reliably. Consider that the 2 major turbo manufacturers that were making kits for the Slingshot blew up a lot of engines, and you are really asking for trouble with something like this.
Hope that helps,

With as many problems as there seem to be with the well known turbos(/ActivatesShield from turbofanboys) I would not even dare go with an ebay kit unless you just want to burn some cash and your engine along with it.

Go for it @Bigdog, we can't wait to see how it works out for you! You missed this one Polaris SlingShot T3T4 Turbo Kit Ecotec 2.4 | eBay. Under $800!

I’m not really interested in a turbo. That’s why I bought the fast gray in the first place. Turbos are for those that bought the slow colors. Sorry about your luck...
-
I bought the fast gray and then turbo charged it. Then I painted it even faster white...
Sometime I can't even see it when people video me it's so fast....

@Bigdog i dont want to see you or anybody else with big engine issues. Run from anything like this.
These "generic or ebay" kits are fun only if your trying to blow stuff up and post a funny video on YouTube so people can watch it.
Just say no....
This video shows the only reason you would buy this cheap stuff. Just for humor value.
Heads up....Bad language warning in the video.
