Yes... I got a new app...

Holy crap...those banjo seals are about $4.50 each.... There are 12 on the whole system...
We need to get together and order them in bulk.. And find out who the supplier/ manufacturer is

You sir need to seek help on a professional level. The level of your sheer want to ignore help is staggering. This is probably the most helpful, with a bit of crazy thrown in, group you could ever find. You have found a way to irritate even the most helpful person here. Stop this instant and rethink your way of asking for help. YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG!!!

Why in Hell would you want to order a faulty part in bulk. I guess that is like your faulty thinking, a bulk quantity or wrong thinking.
And just for the record, the brake system on a sling and the tail rotor on a helicopter are two entirely different systems. The brake system is a static hydraulic system while the tail rotor on the helicopter is a dynamic system, different fluids, different actions. Our brake system does not have any filters, the helicopter has multiply filters. And most of the trash that would be in the helicopter system would be filtered long before it got the sensor, and would most likely be non ferrous metal. I think your helicopter buddy has seen to many black helicopters overhead.
Why is bigdog a professional and I am still a student? Guess I need to come up with some bull crap story so I can boost my post count.

@WraithSS down here we got a saying.........eat up with the dumb ass.
Wish that I could like that more good sir.......I almost shot water out of mouth after reading. Classic!

Blocking works! I just used it. No more absurdity. I hope!!

Can I ask a question of this group ???? Why in the hell did they put Brake Failure when I still have brakes and no cruise control when this light comes on.
Should have read cruise interruption light..
But Tuesday taking my Pepperwhite SS in for Cruise interruptor light.
Have a Good weekend -
So @harleyujoe you are having catastrophic cruise control failure?

Sooo,... you're saying my sling can't fly,... and my helo has no brakes? Damn well, guys,... I'm f##ked now

OMG I can't get back the time it took to read this thread.
Man I am still trying to catch up. Did I start this or what? Anyway I am back sipping on a Bud Lite, I do not know if I can take anymore of this pressure.

Hydraulic systems all operate the same way...closed system that puts fluid under pressure to activate push rods...doesn't matter if it's on the space shuttle or a moped.
The point everyone is missing is....the sensors are getting fouled by tiny rubber bits...the brake fluid is dissolving the cheap rubber and causing it to float through the system. There has to be better (rubber) gaskets we can use to prevent this.
The helicopter mechanic told me that their sensors plugged up with such frequency that as a matter of routine on the preflight inspections they would just pull the sensors and clean them off and put them back...
I still think it's a combination of the type of lines used and cheap rubber that is affected by the brake fluid...
My thoughts are if you don't have to bleed the system when you remove the sensors...which nobody had answered yet ...then as a matter of routine we could have a spare set of sensors (or just take the time to clean the old ones) ready to go with or without new gaskets if we can find better ones... And just swap them every oil change or at some other interval ..
Also I'm sure our brake lines are probably steel, without looking at them....and replacing them with better copper alloy lines to eliminate any internal rusting issues..
In case you don't know brake fluid when it heats up creates condensation in the lines...causing rust which can vibrate loose and clog our sensors along with the rubber and any metallic particles..
And for everyone that still thinks our SS and helicopters aren't similar.....hydraulics is hydraulics...doesn't matter on what the principle and the problems and the cure make them related.
I think you have solved it.
I believe this thread can now be treated like the Titanic and thrown to the bottom of the ocean after a long and painful sinking so that it may rest there never to resurface.
For those who come after the brave souls before you that lost hours of their lives you will find the answer above.
If you choose not to tread on the path of this Titanic thtead see your local servicing dealer and be in and out in less than 2 hours

Hey bud, you picked one heck of a way to get some attention. Things going OK tonight?

Not under warranty at 12,000? What is regular warranty on a Slingshot? Mine is 5 year unlimited miles.

Past 2 years! Never bought into a extended warranty. Polaris is a bunch of zipper heads!

Well has anyone found a better cheaper replacement for the faulty banjo gaskets? If not it looks like we're prisoners to Polaris....now somewhere I read they are using a 2000 jeep clock spring. Where are they sourcing the banjo gaskets and there surely has to be another car company using the same size banjo gaskets...
