That ell buff out
nah, it's bent pretty well (bad pic), but it's not nearly the horror it was made out to be. Except on the pride level of course....

You could have rolled it into bushes at SSITS and messed up your lights...
@pigmanfu that happened over a year ago!!
Shrewd? Hell, I thought he'd be too embarrassed to post about it so I didn't look! His toy, his stupidity, his problem. But maybe next time he'll believe me when I say he's driving like an ass....
Meanwhile, since I am so supportive....
BRUTAL @sideseatdriver
@KayTwo there's that damn chip "IN YOUR FACE" already....sorry bro
Hey take a torch and graze by it. It will smooth alot of that out. Kinda like melting a nylon string... your led lights might not like that heat but it will make that black look better

Good suggestion, looks like the LEDs are split anyway and will need replacement. Shouldn't be too hard to find a similar string and simple to rewire.

I did it to my bottom spoiler before I mounted the splitter. It helped when I burned some of the smaller chunks but I had some huge chunks that just would not go away....
I need that DDM splitter in my life!
Sorry to hear this @KayTwo I did the same thing about a year ago but there wasn't a curb just one wheel off the pavement into a small ditch.
Note to self: never accelerate hard when entering a tight curve, under steer is a bitch.
What I did was strapped it down in the trailer and used a cable come along to pull the spoiler support bar/tube frame back straight again. So now that part of the sling matches most of my mods (gently used)
I was able to straighten it all out, with the exception of the skinned plastic, where you can't hardly tell it unless it's on a lift. Good luck bro and glad no one was hurt.
I already had to do same thing. Piece of pipe slid in support bar, pulled a little and worked great. After a little swearing as well. Glad you ok but it happens.keep on riding
HMMM!!???? @sideseatdriver - No comment!!!???? VERY SHREWD AND WELL PLAYED MADAM!! @KayTwo you do realize she has taken this chip, put it in her pocket - not to be forgotten but to be strategically used sometime in the near or distant future. I speak from experience - it is also reusable - my bride still uses a chip from 1987
And collecting additional ones daily............
And collecting additional ones daily............
Sadly you are ever so correct
@KayTwo I'm also in the same boat when it comes to that devil button in the middle. I have been playing with it from time to time and learning new tricks with it off. It can bite you in the butt. Anyone here that thinks otherwise is just asking for trouble.
Well, now it's a matter of pride. I'm going to learn it. Next time I'll just be in the middle of a 10-acre parking lot. Jesus, did she skitter across the pavement like a water bug on a flat pond.
This sucks @KayTwo! Did you have the Guardian Bell on? How are the mats? Rab's front sticker kit?
Seriously, good thing you are okay... And look at it this way, now that wheel you ding'd ain't even noticeable...
Tell us what you need, we're here for you!
Yes, guardian bells front and back. Front one's MIA/KIA. Rear one still there. Everything else is fine.
I'd agree with you on the wheel ding (dink), except...
Here's the rear
And here's the front.
@KayTwo most importantly you are ok!!! Secondly&$&& #%##£€€$@&!!!
That ain't the half of it, sister!
Sorry to hear about the bad luck.
Thanks, but I attribute it less to luck and more to me taking a bigger bite than I was ready to chew.

Those LEDs are a home wiring job from Autozone, $25 per side...the least of my worries.

That's a hell of an idea. Might steal that.
You think it's better to bend back, or replace the bar? Will the bend in the bar make it weaker for potential future problems?

Well don't have future problems, or are you expecting trouble?
