60° today, really wild for February. Did lots of yard work and grilled on the fire pit. Might go for a spin tomorrow if it hits the 60s.

Talking 50°s for Sunday, but I have 6+ in of snow in the back yard. Roads will probably be wet with snow melting … may try a little ride .

Redneck engineering at its finest. The fire ring is the tub out of an old washing machine.

Well... Still waiting for the rain to stop and the sun to come up to see how bad it is but downtown Nashville and middle Tennessee just took a direct hit from a tornado. First reports from those on the ground are estimating F2-F3. It was headed directly towards my house to the point I had the kids gathered up and taking shelter. I was fortunate that it changed path and went south by a couple miles. Others were not as lucky as there are already 5 confirmed fatalities and the devastation from all the video and pictures coming in are pretty bad. I had minor debris to dodge coming into work but the kids are safe and asleep back in the bed so I'm counting my blessings. Now to start checking on my slingshot family in the area.

Just saw that weather report from TN, glad you and the family are OK.

Rain. Rain yesterday. Rain most of last week. And the week before that. Rain tomorrow. Rain the rest of this week. Probably rain next week. Pretty much just rain. I've lived in this house for 22 years and had to mow the lawn in February for the first time ever this year. May trade the sling in on a boat...

Bryce canyon is a portion of a trip that I have coming up in about three weeks. The last time we were there there was snow all over the place but streets were dry. Hoping that happens again❄️
