I have been hearing about the new fires on your side of the mountain - - not a good thing at all. over here right now we are at 4% humidity and if its even close to that over there thats a very bad thing for the firefighters

I saw highlights on the news yesterday about 96 mph winds and my jaw hit the floor. I can't even fathom what it must be like battling a wild fire in category II hurricane conditions. That must have literally been the closest thing anyone can imagine to being hell on earth...

No riding today, either...

- Got home (~120 miles) at 2pm at 57 degrees.
- Went to vote at 5pm at 47 degrees (early voting in Texas! Yay!)
- Woke up Tuesday morning at 39 degrees.
Over a 40 degree difference in less than 24 hrs.
It's been 40's and misty rain ever since.

More rain here today
This has been the wettest I can remember in a very long time. Normally my pond cycles between full and down as much as 2' - 3' It has been full - over flowing all season. I can't even get back there to cut the grass everything is so soggy. It has been crazy, usually drought is what kills the grass - this year it drowned. I really feel for the folks in Louisiana they have been pummeled continuously with storms, we only see the remnants.
You all stay safe
