not much but 1st things done to our ss. Center mount tpms and locking gas cap. GPS will be next when it comes in that will be it probably be it till next year. Need to figure out what we need/want for her.
Bdern the Bluetooth valves are often overlooked but so convenient. You’re gunna like them! (Tip). When you do a tire change make sure you pass the special tool to the shop or remove them prior. I was lucky enough to catch the frustrated tech on his way to remove mine with a pair of vice grips. 😖
When mounting TPMS units to your valve stem, consider replacing rubber tire valves with metal valve stems. The added weight of the TPMS can increase flexing of rubber valve stems and may eventually result in a leak. Metal valve stems avoid this.
Started to Install the yellow top battery, it is a bear. In all the Videos Nobody Shows how to get the battery in the compartment. I made a contraption and figured this 45 lbs would be easy dough, also to connect the cables is hard to get to.
I ordered a new negative cable because the original one will not work. You have to lift the battery in an angle and it weighs only 45lbs
Did a little wrap work on the radio suround plate.

I installed the optima red top a few months ago. Absolutely no room to connect easy. Struggled with it for several hours before I got it the way I wanted it. Just a small tip, push the battery as for as you can towards the driver side to get it away from the heat of the exhaust. The exhaust will melt the battery if it’s too close. Got this tip from FunCycle before I installed mine. Good luck. 🍀
I feel your pain man! I complained to folks how much of a PITA getting that yellow top in there was and they looked at me like I'm crazy. I also have the front posts in use so have to really be careful with that mount to make sure it's in middle and spaced between the two front posts as well. Good battery though and a good AGM charger will top it off more than the sling alternator will too!

Also he should have bought the battery with the side post

mine has the side post, but is not easy to get to also 😀
Neither the oem but my oem lasted 6 years. Why go to another brand?
My own is still ok, but I added an amplifier and a few other things, that’s why
I actually didn't stay with oem. Just bought one off the shelf at O'Reilly autoparts.
Took a perfectly good BulletSpeed hood vent, stripped the coating down to bare aluminum, put a brushed look on the metal, and then cleared it. Removed the metal inserts and replaced with carbon fiber. All that's left is to put in some rivets and mount it back on the hood.
That look great.

That looks badass…

I just replaced mine too! With an interstate group 34 from Costco, less than $100. It was a struggle though! Had to replace the oem connectors too because they were so corroded.
But it's a tight fit and close to the welter exhaust tube...
What do y'all recommend to insulate or protect the battery down there?
I was thinking of something between the battery and exhaust... Like a sheet of something either coated or protected with some kind of insulator?
It's like a couple millimeters away from touching...
