Very pretty car. Can only imagine it when Lingenfelter (or DDM) get hold of it. Now the sales process starts with the wife, how can I afford to not have one...….
Great color. Goes to show you that BIGDOG is wrong about RED being the slow one
Is it just me, or does that look like the moved the engine to the rear?
** Edit - DOH! Guess I should have followed the link first and read the article. Yep, completely redesigned to mid-(rear) engine configuration. **
Damn - never been a Corvette guy but that is hot!
So I am guessing my slingshot and about 70K would get me one
I plan to take a hard look at one. I need a go fast car with AC.

If I only had $$$.$$$ I would have been the first on the list. I have owned two a red and white 1960, then I messed up and traded it on a red 1967 435 Coupe that no longer had the 435. I always wanted my 1960 back but I did keep the 1967 for 26 years
It will be interesting to see if HP Tuners can crack the ECM open for tuning. The 2019 Corvette ZR1 takes 10 credits to unlock at $40/credit plus you have to pay to unlock the TCM in addition to that. And then you have to pay someone to tune it.

It should be interesting -
If I can get in and out of the thing already got the blessing from the wife to order one. Should be around 70ish for Z51 package.
Just means my 07 F-150 I was going to replace is staying in the fleet! Since I will be sling less soon I have to have a toy! Just hope I can sit in one first.
it's pretty, nice lines and interesting that they are going with a mid engine, but I'm guessing that's mainly for weight distribution
Not meant as an advertisement per say, but Kerbeck Chevrolet in Atlantic City is the number one dealer of Vettes, and is taking pre-orders. The 1K deposit is refundable up until you start order on specific options. This might give you a chance to get on a list early, and if you try one and it does not fit back out.
I bought a Vette through Kerbeck, and it was super easy....took museum delivery. Could not come CLOSE to their prices. Imagine the C8s will be MSRP from them for 1st year, but they get nations largest allocation. Just have to convince my wife to let me try that approach............

Unless I hit the lottery it will never happen
That’s the route I’m hoping to go I would like to do the Bowling Green delivery also!
From what I have read its the first Corvette that will not be available with a manual transmission, but on the bright side they did design it so that if you pull back on both paddle shifters you can still rev the engine at stop lights
.
My wife was waiting for official specs to decide whether or not to part with her '18 C7 Grand Sport 3LT for a '20.... after she saw the sneak peak final design last month I guess she wasn't impressed .... 'cause an Escalade showed up in her garage last week .... from Hennessy ..

Red of course!!
