Happy Thanksgiving, Thanks to everyone here on the forums and the Rallies that I have met in the SlingShot community. I continue to work on the Fender Button kits and although I missed the release of these kits for Black Friday/Cyber Monday, I will offer them for a 20% discount for a limited time upon release!
Price Announcement: The normal price of these kits will be $124.99, discounted price of $99.99. In addition, anyone who purchases a kit and later decides it is beyond their skills to install, I will buy back sealed unopened kits or install your kit for you for a set fee of $75 at a Rally or other get together.
Please Note: The limited time 20% discount is not a pre-sale discount nor does it start today. The limited time 20% discount will be offered upon the release of these kits and will be honored in the event of out an "of stock sale". Please stay tuned.
Thanks, Phil
Put me on your list for the install at the SSITS17. PM me when you are ready for some money.

Meet "Buttons" & "Oh, Snap!" They have agreed to sit on my fenders to hold them down. Best mod yet!
I don't know if they even have enough weight to keep your hood down, but I'm certain they would get something else up... -

Just installed my own. Took it for a test drive. Honestly, it doesn't seem to help...
Sew what! You have to start a new "thread"

You might want to wait for the kit. I've been following this closely and want to do this. There have been lots of previous posts on parts and where to get but it's been a bit thin on instructions although it doesn't look overly difficult. Since this calls for drilling the hood I'd really like a good set of instructions also and maybe a template.

Imma be lookin for @mniron in the daytime with a flashlight to install mine. Couldn't stand the pressure drilling into my paint!!
At Eureka Springs @mniron drilled ours and @devonpams, two of painter's creations without hesitation. He has it down to a science. Just make sure your hood opens and closes correctly.

^^^^ Ditto. What he did after breakfast would have taken me 3 meals and lots of beer ....... and that would still left me with the drill in my hand saying over and over "you can do this" - am very grateful for his product and expert installation

It's going to be a difficult task to develop a "one-size-fits-all" instruction sheet but if anyone can do it @mniron can!
@Painter Thanks for the vote of confidence, as you know when it comes to these Slingshots there seems to be a lot of variables. Some are more difficult than others, I think some installs will be difficult for a novice. But I have not found one that can't be installed. Although I have not done an Anibal Fender. I looked at one but actually turned down the install because of the fear of damaging the fiberglass, I believe it also could be done given enough patience.

These buttons have worked flawlessly since installed at SSITS and the BEST mod ever! I used to wonder if my fenders were going to flex back and forth enough to just break them off and now there is a great fit between the fenders and the turn lights and virtually no flex at all!
@mniron installed them expertly in a very short time and after install my Sling is rock solid!
