Does anyone have a recommendation and source for a cool cushion that will fit nicely in our slingshot seats. I am tired of being soaking wet from perspiration after two minutes.
TIA,
BOB

I originally bought mine to use with my recumbent trike. These pads let the air flow through. Mine is big enough to sit on part of it and have the rest behind my back. There are different sizes and different thicknesses. A tad expensive but makes a big difference.
I'm sorry but I believe you called the wrong number. Please hang up and try again.

Well, I did email them for a recommendation of which product to purchase for the SlingShot and how much, I'll get back when I receive a response.

wjfyfe let us know what they said. I am really interested in that. We put a Bullet Speed top on the that helped allot with the heat but something like this would be a perfect addition to the SS.
We use wood beads seat covers from WallyWorld. Not perfect but it helps.

I paid about $100 for mine
Thinking back I probably bought it on a bicycle/trike sight. I think the actual sight is across the pond.
Search “recumbent trike accessories” or recumbent seat pads

Will do!

I did that too but I have destroyed 3 of them, they do not hold up to my fat ass.

LOL, I honestly believe that it would have more to do with that they are not really designed for the SlingShots type seats......................

This is the size I use
Go to Walmart, auto accessories, and get one of these:
50372650
I've used one for several years and it makes a world of diff. After it gets "broken in" it will conform to the contour of the seat. Best $10 you'll ever spend.
These types of cushion were very much in vogue way back when air conditioning was rare and seats were vinyl. They do work. There are also some made with small 12v blowers to move air.

I, too, use a wooden bead car seat pad/cover. I've had the same pad in place for 3 years. The beads allow a little air to flow thru the Slingshot seat channel and reduce monkey butt/sweating.
