Interesting front page photo in the local Fort Lauderdale paper. A Vander hall packed with filming equipment being used to film car chase scenes on our beach road for the Bad Boys 4 movie.

I'd love one.

Just wondering how the police in your part of the country react to blue lighting on your Slings? South Florida cops do not like them.

Any info on how hard it is to change one of the center head lights on a 2018 SLR?
-
Some of you have posted about Progessive Insurance not renewing your cpverage. I find it interesting that the recent sales flyer I got from polaris for the Slingshots had Progressive Insuramce boldly advertising on it.

Love the yop on yhis red sling. Where can I get one?
-
How much space is between the inner and outer tub?
-
I'd love to know how drilling through the double walls you were able to drill through the outer wall in just the right location. I bought all the necessary parts years ago, but have been afraid to drill the holes.

Get some ventsit cushions

Mine ticked noticibly at slow speeds. My exhaust may be louder than yours.

Sounds like the rear wheel/axle bearing.
-
Just might try that. I suppose I can buy one at the chevy dealer.

The dreaded knock sensor light came on today. Guess I'll take it in to replace it in a couple of years. Tried the ignition on and off a few times, but still couldn't clear the fault. Had the same problem a few years ago. 🤔

That thing is disturbing. I might need therapy after looking at that.

The pic I sent before is sbout the best closeup I have. You should be able to zoom in on it for closeup view.

I have the 3 inch stacks on now. First batch I used the 2 or 21/2 inch stacks. Changed to the 3s a couple of years ago.

The diamond plate is very thin and I cut it with tin snips or jig saw. Made final shaping with disk sander, then bent it using the polaris piece as a template.
Drilled four holes for the stacks and po riveted them on. Drilled holes for mounting like original. I chose to paint mine black before mounting the stacks. Got the volkswagen velocity stacks on line from
www2.cip1.com.
Took me about 2 hrs to make and about 70 dollars material.

I made my velocity stack vent for about 70 dollars. Shaped some diamond plate for the base, and bought the stacks off the internet.

No pics. Ghost wheels.

VENTISIT cushions for the seats. Double bubble windshields or wings on your existing windshield to get air into the cockpit.
