Six beers and two cheese burgers later I got my second mod done, looks really great.
Chrome valve stem cap. Boy does that look good! Can't wait to do the other two.

I guess that will take some French fries and a root beer float!
Nice clean installation!
Did you have to tape off the surrounding area? What is the torque value on the cap?

Don't forget to get lots of red Loctite on there - wouldn't want to lose those
To much locktite and a rebalance might be in order.

It would be 6 cheesburgers and 2 beers for me
Great job @War Hoop. You probably want to take a couple days off to recoup and decide if you really like the look before tackling the other two. Sure you could remove them if you don't like them, but what a pain in the tuckus that would be.
@WingShot is your avatar a hint at the design direction "The Monster" is heading? Also, how is it going? I suggest letting Warhoop put some miles on his VScaps before you do any big mods to yours.

torque value! torque value! We don't need no stinking torque value!

Did you know you can re balance your tires with well chewed bubblegum? Just don't get it on your shoe's...

Not headed any direction yet, Just getting everything dialed in and living up to its name.
I think we need a complete video series on how this is done.

Well check out @samowens44 he just might have a video
I guess I am surprised this was not covered under warranty or at least take it to a Polaris dealership to ensure it was done professionally. Additionally, doing it yourself may have void any existing warranty.
Have not made it to the subject of value cap installation video, but if there are people that have a problem with this, I am the man that can make a 5 part video series. Remember I am the guy that produced a how to fuel up the Slingshot. The request came from members saying they had issues with spillage of gas and such. I edited it down to around 5 min. just for anyone that missed it, Showtime! Now, just one more thing. I show how to place Velcro under the roll bar area to hold the Velcro piece on Gas Cap. I did find it would be better to mount the tape in the corner of the area I show. Well, I came up with another video to cover that issue. I will post here. Folks, I reduce my video down to the lowest common denominator. Some folks need detail. No subject is too small for me to create a Cecil B Demille Epic Video Production!
New and improved issue Gas Cap Security.

War Hoop, from your photo I see your tire was Manufactured in the 43 week of 2016, you only have 5 more years on that tire and it will have to be replaced, due to age.

I'll be lucky if it makes it through the summer, it's about half gone now.
This might explain my lack of mods - - got my slingshot on the 9th of April 2017 and I quit drinking on July 11th
never occurred to me that I would need beers to get mods done
I attempted this mod and failed. No problem with the 6 beers but I did not finish the 2nd cheeseburger. Guess I'll have to set my sights a little lower...

I already know where you screwed up. Gotta eat the cheeseburgers first. There's always room for the liquid to filter in around them.
