Finished with the fenders earlier and it is 72 degrees, decided to go for a short ride. Guess what? No brakes the pedal goes straight to the floor and will not hold pressure when pumped up. No leaks, no air bled the brakes twice. The SS has been sitting for a week and I have never had any problems before except getting the air out when new.
No Brakes

Bad Master cylinder?
-
That is what I am thinking, the only thing it could be in my experience. Of course it was a little after 5 when I found it. Dealer is closed I will check with them tomorrow and see if they have one in stock. They are not getting my Sling until they have the part.

Get on the road quick...But I'm still going to keep ahead of you in the miles...
But I do not want you parked... -
No fluid?
-
Gerald, does it matter? I'm not sure I've ever seen your brake lights come on.
-
He don't slow down much...
-
No fluid?
Read the thread Phil. I bled the system twice.

All I would need is the emergency brake.

Just thought with all the excitement of having the Stickedick fenders, you may have forgotten to top off the master after bleeding the brakes, Sorry I didn't fully explain my rational, but it's bike week and I wanted to get back out to the coleslaw wresting contest
-
I took mine for a ride about a month ago ...it hit 70 that day...first ride since winter started....backing down my driveway I realized my brakes were not grabbing....the e brake acted goofy the handle was way out of adjustment from when I parked it..and the regular brakes would not hold....
I kept pulling up and pumping the brakes...after about 5 minutes of repeating that...they finally worked normally.....never had a vehicle do that before....pretty weird....

^^^ Well, it's official, you have a definite problem.
Hope it is a simple overlooked item and easy fix.
But, I now a suspect a conspiracy... possibly catastrophic.

Here you go.

Just remember my middle name is “Murray’s Law”. If anything that sounds totally outrageous is going to happen, it will happen to me. Nothing surprises me anymore.

^^^^^^^^^
Murray's law predicts the thickness of branches in transport networks, such that the cost for transport and maintenance of the transport medium is minimized. This law is observed in the vascular and respiratory systems of animals, xylem in plants, and the respiratory system of insects.[1][2][3][4] Its simplest version states that if a branch of radius r {\displaystyle r} splits into two branches of radii r 1 {\displaystyle r_{1}} and r 2 {\displaystyle r_{2}} there holds r 3 = r 1 3 + r 2 3 {\displaystyle r^{3}=r_{1}^{3}+r_{2}^{3}} . Like Hagen-Poiseuille Law and Fick's Law, which were also formulated from a biological context, Murray’s law is a basic physical principle for transfer networks.[2][4] -

Correct....the bad luck transfers directly to me...through some kind of other worldly portal.....time after time consistently. 1+1=666

The clutch master cylinder on the Slingshot is the same as a 2.4L 2006-2009 Pontiac Solstce/Saturn Sky, GM#24249817. Edit - Sorry I am still not feeling well and this has nothing to do with the clutch master.

Hey!!!
A long lost brother.

Backed the Sling out of the garage a little while ago so Brenda could see the new fenders. Still no brakes and then went to pull it back in the garage with my hand on the Emergency brake hit the brake and had half a pedal, pumped again and had a full pedal so I went for a ride being very careful. The squiggly brake warning lite came on and off about three times while I was out riding and then stayed on. I do not know what in the hell is going on. It has still got to be the master cylinder.
