Some of us are removing the front fender for a tire hugger style fender. Some have already removed the fender and do not run any fender, @Slingrazor. This will remove the outside fender pad. Do you have a lot of hood movement without it or will everything be OK? Will the hood fender start to sag down?
Hood Pad without front fender??

No, there is nothing to replace the pad. In order to run with the fender removed, you have to put the hood buttons that @mniron sells on. They will hold the hood in place.
thank you sir, already have them, thinking about adding the hood vents from Zero Decibel, both for looks and function. But you answered my question

Okay, for those getting @StickerDicks front wheel huggers... Has anyone thought of removing the left and right hood sections completely and just keeping the center?
Of course, that would require the mustache to also be removed (in my opinion for a better flow/look) and maybe Prowler like push bumpers on the lower left and right... I don't know but I think it'd be an awesome look... Wish I could photoshop to demonstrate what I mean...
And then this...

Otter from TDS cut his fenders off back in 2015. The one part that created a problem is the lights.

Well, in the US the center lights are the actual headlights for the "autocycle/motorcycle" standard, right?
I think push bumpers could be molded and designed to place a pair of outer lights, along with a blinker/safety marker...
I have the vision, but not the know-how or funds... Otherwise I'd try it myself...
Wish I had @kev or @harleyujoe talent and that crazy Dubai money that created that contraption @Zorasmiles shared... Oh well!

Yep what he said! LOL

that’s exactly what I was looking at doing @MiM. I guess someone beat me to it.

This is my hand built hood with my fenders.. I Removed the bat wings and if you look where original mirrors were I molded that area smooth with hood covering that also.

Didn't own the Sling a week last year when I took the cut off wheel to those fenders. It was a lot of fun and I wouldn't trade it for the world but unfortunately I seem to be the only guy who wants it bad enough to chop up a perfectly good Slingshot ! Sometimes I think only me and and @harleyujoe can appreciate this .lol

I know in 2016 my body work was off 2 months after I purchased I had tried 3 body attempts.. The weird shape and size of slingshot makes it hard
to come up with something that really stands out alone.I am pleased with mine but would like to take lower wing off and make narrower front view Made the belt guard to not stand out like plastic did

This won’t pass safety inspection....
if it came with anything from the factory it must be there and in working order.

We don't have inspections here!
