I have it on the stock 2015 sl wheel
BUT, it's been widened to 12". It sure makes people wonder how it fits on a stock appearing wheel

Cost? Who did it? How? Safe? Pics? Thanks!
James @ Welcraft wheels 734-779-1303 can give you all the details. I believe it was like $400 plus shipping, but the wheel I sent him wasn't acceptable and we had to go with a new wheel from Polaris. That drove the costs up a LOT. But the lead time is several weeks since they are constantly busy
I just ordered the Riken Raptor ZR for all corners

Do keep me posted on this one please. I was gifted a set of SL rims with stock tires that were gently used for 7k. Fronts looked near new, rear had about 50%, so I'm good for most of this season. I looked at these, along with the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2. Feedback is much appreciated!

I also have a brand new set of tires (Kenda) and rims
I just got the Riken Tires off of the UPS truck, man do they look good. The 255/35/20 is a full 9 1/2 inch tread width (what hits the road). The 225/45/18 is 8 inches tread width. I will put the fronts on in a couple of weeks, replacing the BFG Comp 2 Summer after our trip to Little Switzerland next weekend. The 255 is the same tread width as the stock Kenda and softer. The rear will have to wait awhile to wear down the Nexum (tread width is 8 1/2 inch good in the wet but not so good on the dry, that is why I blew the turn in the video that @Storm took.

Where can I relive that moment? I haven't seen it.

Look forward to the after-action report.
Considering eventually replacing the rear 305 30 20 on my SLR rim with this....
Thoughts?
I just found my rear tire. Think I need to paint the wheel to match my black sling a bit better.

That should fit on the 11" wide SLR rim, no problem. If you plan on riding in cooler weather, it should do OK, but a Summer tire will generally outperform an All Season tire for traction.
I have similar memories of being stationed In West Berlin in the 1970s. Got off a mid-shift and slept thru the only decent summer day we had that year, or so it seemed.
Just ordered the General Max AS-05 tire for the back. Will let you know how it works for me. Going on a long trip and wanted a different tire than the stock one which only has about 3500 miles on it.

Look forward to seeing it, and hearing the feedback! Can't promise you won't lose a little rubber off it, though!
Well I ran my stock base tires for about 11k and the rear is just about done. So i picked these up of all places at Walmart.com

Was going to order same tires from tire rack but just for the hell of it i checked wally world, the fronts are about the same price and the rear was $30 cheaper but tire rack charges you shipping and then you have to pay to mount and balance. On the other hand Wally World has free shipping and mounting, then you pay for balancing ($10 a tire). So anyone looking at the Hankook Ventus check out the links above. I am guessing I saved around $100 by going to Wally World. As for how they handle I have no clue as i just got back from getting them mounted and balanced now I have to install them (but to dam hot atm).
I just ordered another Riken Raptor for the rear while I can still get it.
Can someone running the nitto 555 G2, 255/35/20 verify the tire width. I read some stats that claim it is 12” wide.... our stock rims are only 9” and my stock tire measures just about 10”.....
