Were any children hurt in the bus?
You guys doing okay in San Antonio?

Yep... Nothing here, just wind.... A bit of rain...
Friends in Houston though...
Just devastating...
First street ride was a Yamaha Seca 550.
Bought it new when I was 17 years old.
My first was a 67 Karmann Ghia
In case you were wondering it was NOT a chick magnet
First was a Triumph. Just like the one below, only apes and a sissy bar that would part clouds it was so high. That's what I had other than dad's older car that he let me use some in the colder or wetter weather. It was a 1965 Mercury Park Lane with a 390 Interceptor engine. My first car was a 1971 Maverick Grabber. It had the 302 V8, and was pretty much a poor man's Mustang. None of the pics below were mine, but just like mine including color.
My first ride was a 1978 Ford Grenada. 0-60 in 2.5 gas stations.

No shit. Mine was an '82. 9 mpg, if I was easy on it, which I wasn't. At least gas was only $0.87 or some shit like that.

I just thank God it was a hand me down cause with my job gas and insurance was the only thing I could afford at the time.

My first car was a 1981 Honda Civic EX 5speed sick. Prior to that I got to drive/borrow my dad's 72 Oldsmobile Delta 88. I think the Civic could just about fit into the Oldsmobile engine bay. The Oldsmobile got around 12 in the city and 20 on the highway. The Civic was about 33 City and 40 highway. Good times with both rides. I ran the Civic until 1992 and I could see the road trough the floorboards.
This thread exists somewhere because I already had this picture on my phone...
I dug up pics of my last ride before the slingshots were announced
Can I include this as my first ride?

we need a picture of the ride, not the location
Not this one but one like this in white/blue 1994 DT Grandpa gave it to me as my 12th birthday present and man what a riot that thing was.
Funny thing is that as he was handing it over to me and showing my parents he went and tipped it over on purpose on the grass and said there it has its first scratch so you don't have to baby it now....... 0 miles and already had a down, grandpa had a funky sense of humor.
50.00 for a 66 ranchero bought it with my lawn mower money at 13. Back in the poedunk farm town I lived in we all were driving at 12 on the farm hauling hay and wheat.
Then I sold it and got a 69 galaxy 500 390 I had more power than a kid should have.

No, it was empty. I, on the other hand, had 4 passengers. I was the only one who got transported.
Like you said you where the only one transported. Which one was you
Can I include this as my first ride?
That counts as long as it didn't have two flat tires and a hanging bumper
actually if we want to go back to the very first ride it looked like this - Taco Frejoli mini bike. Bought the frame kit with wheels at a local garden supply place and put a briggs & stratton 3hp lawn mower motor on it. the only break is the plate that presses against the back tire when you push down on a leaver with your left foot. My father upgraded me later to a Honda 100 after I came home with a McCulloch 2 stroke motor off a friends racing go kart - He seemed to think that wouldnt be safe on the mini bike and that I might kill myself
