    I try to evaluate what they actually can do and not just believe the will be able to do everything they say - - - a good 50% if not more of what they say is just BS they tell their base that they will never even attempt and the rest that they might try has to get past the courts - which now with ACB will not be very easy

    This software thing in Michigan is troubling and it's amazing it's not being covered by many.


    This isn't a conspiracy theory or partisan belly aching, it is a fact that around 6000 Trump (and other Republican) votes where counted for dems due to a "software glitch" and when it was discovered by auditors who wondered why a traditionally Conservative county was tilting so far left it was corrected. Now to find out that half the counties in Michigan as well as in as many as 30 other states use this same software and they have yet to be checked for the same problem. It might not be there but anyone who doesn't think it's important to check is clearly not in favor of a free and fair election.


    So that is one factual major concern, Justice Alito's ruling against PA is another, if a major third strike shows soon I may take back my previous statements ....

    Did anyone hear Biden's little speech last night... He said (this is not a quote) that it looks as though he will be president and that our country has problems that we all need to work together to solve... He listed.. Covid, economy, racial injustice, climate change.... These are the same problems (other than Covid) that we have had the whole time he has been in politics... People are lemmings when they listen to his new line of bullshit and believe it.

    I’m disappointed but can swallow a Biden win. Now all concern goes to the Senate runoffs. If the Dems either win the Senate or tie where Harris casts the deciding vote they will have control of all 3 branches. This scenario could wind up being worse than we ever even imagined. All the media is already talking about how horrible half the country is for voting for Trump. You disagree with Democrats and you are immediately labeled a bad, racist, homophobic, cruel, person. Yeah....Biden is really gonna unite 🤮

    It's sad that Trump did this to himself. Had he just kept quiet a little more and not seem so crazy, more professional and respectful, while still being tough, he could've easily been reelected.


    I didn't vote in 2016 because I wasn't convinced of what was being offered, but had hoped for the best when Trump was elected. That maybe he'd "get it together" and let the smart people around him lead and guide.


    Oh well, it's just 4 years. Always checks and balances... Like Trump, this too shall pass.

    Thought I would open up w thread where we all can pontificate on the looming, arguably most important, Presidential Election in our lifetimes. I have made it clear on the other forum I would vote for Bernie Madoff before I would vote for Hillary as they both have similar credibility. It appears that Trump will likely be the Republican nominee. What does that say about our country? These 2 candidates have the highest "DISAPPROVAL" ratings in history. So that means when you pull the lever in November it no longer means who is the best candidate but who do you hate less. Don't know how to make it happen but the political election process is clearly broken and needs to be revamped from the bottom up!!


    Bill, you were right on! The vote for Biden, is "Who do you hate more". Trump is not for the American People and their well being. He had shown that he can not handle an emergency, the Covid-19 pandemic. He has told us all kinds of false information, downed our medical experts and told us the virus was a hoax in the beginning. I am a long term republican and have never been big on politics until Trump became our president. This thread lead me to leave this forum. I hope Trump can be president enough to show defeat in a graceful presidential way.

    I see this as a chance to unite for our country. A president elect with an attitude towards working with congress. Someone that will listen to the experts in the medical field and find solutions to our Covid 19 pandemic. Our lives are at stake. We need sound leadership and I think we will have it possible. Bill, I hope you will look at this as a way to unite our nation and not be divided. I still respect you as part of our Slingshot Family.
