I just got back from a nice 64 deg. ride. Sunshine and beautiful!

I just got home from work. My office was a comfortable 73 degrees with slight breeze from my desk fan. Not really sure about outside weather anymore
-
55 and raining on my ride into work this morning. Not a hard rain, but it seemed like it on the freeway - heck didn't even need the rain suit I keep behind the driver seat
-
It’s 60 and going to 70. Heading out in 10 min!!!
-
35 and staying in the house.
-
Looking across the front yard. Mowed it for the first time this year. 64* right now. And I’m without a ride. Guess I’ll have to take the truck out to Home Depravation.

So @pricejh61, is the concertina wire to protect your New SS?
-
Not concertina. Plastic arches with mini lights. Left over from Christmas. Needs to be taken down.

We don’t need Concertina in this neighborhood. We all have guns...welcome to East Tennessee.

looks like its going to be a great day. The ride in was a bit cool at 53, but it should warm up the the mid 70's this afternoon
-
Now that tune is in my head, lol

So I'm just curious as far as rain, what does the percentage have to be for everybody to ride or does it matter? I started out last year when I got the slingshot with only 0% percentage days and that went out the window quick. Now I see myself increasing that each morning I check the forecast. I think I'm about at a less than 50% chance frame of mind now.

How close are you to Murphy, NC?

Depends on the temperature, but normally 40-50% is my cutoff.

53 degrees and not raining when I leave the house. Hell I left here one time just a few hours ahead of the landfall of a hurricane. Had to look at the radar to see which way up had the least amount of rain for the next 6 hours.

I generally don't like to leave the house if the rain is coming down. But like FunCycle I have put lots of miles on and if your going to get lots of miles you are going to get rained on. Please in the rain slow down a little and be aware that that third wheel can bounce around a little. Probably most of the Slingshot accidents have happened on wet roads.
