Wondering if anyone had their roll bars powder coated to get rid of that nasty Polaris coating? If so, were you happy with the results?
Powder coating roll bars

I was under the impression that Polaris had a recall on the roll bars-specifically because they were powder coated. Something about the powder coat reacting with the metal, causing rollbars to lose structural integrity.
Somebody who remembers what it was --please jump in and bail my ass out if I am wrong

One of the 2015 recalls was because the PC doing the roll bars was overheating them making them brittle .....
Much like wheels your coater needs to have experience working with lower temperature materials and be real careful of time and temperature exposure so not to weaken the material ...
Painting may be a safer alternative .....
.
EDIT: @NatomasSlingshot1 types faster ..........

so it was merely an uncontrolled process????

That was the word in the wind ...the vendor was cooking them..... curious that mine where before the recall, not part of it, and still look great even with the FL sun .....

Why even bother putting those back on your beast!!! They'll just cause drag, and probably snap off during your first run anyways!!

There is plenty of firsts on your ride. Love your suspension set up, wheels tires... yep, all of it.

Thanks, but it is still no V8 Slingshot monster. Your ride looks and sounds great so far! Got a couple more ideas I have been working on over here. In a couple weeks when I get back they will get started.

had mine painted graphite metallic for base gray (the fast color) lol

I really like that look. I have some factory paint left after my wing / spoiler... Might have to give it some serious thought.
