My wife has one of those. I measured some patterns that she shot with it when she first got it. At a measured distance of 21' it held an unbelievable 7" pattern with 00buck.
I like that little fella but that safety is rough on the hand if your not holding it correctly!

We have two of them along with two Remington Model 870 TAC 14's..doubling your pleasure from both manufacturers!! To think we were about to make similar AOW's out of a couple of Mossbergs until they decided to release the Shockwave...thanks Denzel Washington for the role you played carrying a much similar weapon which probably provoked the wonderful firearm makers LOL Who continued to feed the addiction.

Took my class from a P/T LEO (retired ISP Inspector) at my Son’s Dept. This is a Long Overdue Right that needed to be corrected. Thanks to the NRA and The Non-Libtards support to upholding Our Second Amendment!

Yep. My first shotgun was a Remington 12 gauge semi-auto ~> sad times!

Remington took some of it's manufacturing to China (not sure how much). They also started making a cheapened version of the 870 pump that was sold at Walmart. I don't know anyone local that has bought anything other than older stuff that is from them, or .22 thunderbolt jacketed or not jacketed. The .22 was (still somewhat) so hard to come across, it got where if you saw some you just picked up some and cleaned it better after plinking. I hate it too. I have my dad's (1100 I think) semi-auto 12 gauge, guessing it's nearly 50 years old at least.

The Walmart today has more 22 ammo than they have had since it disappeared off of the market years ago. About 5 different brands. Also about the Remington deal, if you remember years back the finance industry tried to shut down the gun and ammo manufacturers by not loaning the money that they needed to operate or financing anything new that they wanted to build. This just might be the start of all of this happening again.

I used to have the old style Remington Wingmaster 870 12 guage with vent rib barrel. IMO it was hands down the best duck gun I ever owned. I just flat wore it out and the newer models and, just as in so many things, they were not the same quality. Went with Benelli and have been extremely satisfied.

Sad, but not totally surprised. They've lost a lot of their quality that they used to be known for. Some of the more cynical discussions I've seen in some of my groups point to to much focus on new pistol stuff and losing focus on their long guns that were so good. Who knows.

You are so correct - I know a LOT of duck hunters that were die hard Remington 870 & 1100 owners and as they wore out I can’t think of a one that replaced their old Remington with a new one. Hate to see any gun manufacturer go under - that’s bad for gun owners anywhere IMO

Anybody need some cheap 9mm plinking ammo? This 1000-round box is the equivalent of 17¢ per round ($8.50 per box of 50). It is reloadable brass.

I think they are trying to protect themselves from the lawsuits that are being filed against them due to the douchebag that shot the kids ( I believe in CT.). He used a Remington assault type rifle. I could be wrong but that is what I heard.
