Cool, this is not in the same league as the SlingShot so comparing the
two would be apples to oranges, but it looks like a great option for
somebody that is looking for an inexpensive three-wheeled street bike!Bill

Just mount your mower in front for maneuverability... Mounting it off the rear would just be too awkward.

I actually like the overall lines of the Ryker. Just imagine if they designed a single seat, sit-in cockpit and kept the price and weight as close to $11,000 and 600 lbs as possible! I always rode my two-wheelers alone and rarely have a passenger in my Slingshot, so I'd definitely consider such a model as a potential replacement for my Slingshot.

I always rode my two-wheelers alone and rarely have a passenger in my Slingshot, so I'd definitely consider such a model as a potential replacement for my Slingshot.

I'd probably agree with both of those statements... but I'd still like a ride on mower deck to go with it, then I could use my 27 year old Snapper riding mower as a trade in.

Too bad the Can-Am's don't lean into a corner. The idea of sitting perched on top of a trike through a corner just doesn't seem sporty to me at all.

And its automatic. The little woman can drive it. I do like the low center of gravity. I think Can Am will reach a whole different customer base with this one.

As wlfyfe says, it's apples and oranges. It doesn't matter what you call something or how it's registered. The fact is, one is a 3-wheel motorcycle, and the SS is a 3-wheel car. There are markets for both.

In most states the Slingshot is registered as a motorcycle and plated as such. Insurance companies --- motorcycle Federal Gov --- motorcycle
