Everybody has a story. Don't think you know what it is until you've heard it. It's probably not what you're thinking.

Here is my story... I started my first business while I was in college and grew that way beyond what I ever thought it could be. Then I hired someone to run it and I started another and another and so on. I build, buy, and invest in companies for a living.

That's a great story - in three sentences. Man I love capitalism!

wokka He made it home okay , We pinned him in between Kyle D
and I in case Kyle had to pull and I could push lol. We Ran all the way almost to Toledo Ohio Saturday night and Dan SlingDrop and I were playing a little silly a couple of times , Kyle was tied up driving the Escalade pulling his fuel load and Slingshot, But I probably don't have to tell you , he doesn't know SLOW .
Approaching lima Ohio the sky ahead of us was a light show for about fifteen minutes , then suddenly the gates of Hell opened and luckily we were just at an off ramp and Kyle led us off and pulled left under the overpass, where we had to stop cause we couldn,t see for the pelting we took in that 30 seconds ! We stood under there for twenty minutes laughing our asses off saying surely it can't keep this up long , then it let up just enough for Dan and I to peel under the canopy of the comfort inn 1/4 mile away , we couldn't even see it in the storm 20 minutes earlier !

Glad y'all made it back. Now Dan can let us know how his differential is doing and progress

Very lucky the broken bolt was not tight. You do not want to know what it would have taken to extract it if locked in place. As it was small movements via a flat head screwdriver worked it out in about 30minutes of continual very, very, very small movements.

MACAWS kept getting in the way of the light.... Damn it was a hard job. Honestly very happy to help. Just so glad it was easier than it could have been. Dude you were working so late and felt for you. It was late and Mitch needed something to do. Glad your trail fix got him home.

Thank you to MACAWS Ruptured Duck Dave@DDMWorks for helping me get back on the road. Huge props!
What we think happened is that at some point the driveshaft threw a weight and became unbalanced, causing vibration. That combined with diff bushings that were worn (Bob uses a used G35/350z diff along with the bushings) caused the rear bolt to back out and then shear. Bob sent me a new driveshaft under warranty i picked up some new polyurethane bushings and all should be put back together in the coming weeks.
