As the weather warms up it wont be long before I start using my 1/2 helmet again as such I will no longer have the eye protection provided by a face shield. My sunglasses that I used last year are getting old so I thought I would ask my friends here what you use and recommend for eye protection when riding.

I don't know that anyone brand is superior to another, as long as they are comfortable, and they protect you. I have found several brands of motorcycle glasses that work for me, as long as they have the phone that help seal around the eyes. The dark ones in this picture are Bobster, and the yellow ones (for night driving) just say Maxx on them. I don't remember. I look for the ones that say "ballistic" protection, or similar, and have UV protection. Whichever one I'm not wearing goes in the Crown Royal bag in the glove box.

I have a F4 5+ tinted windshield ---- not really a problem with the larger windshield.

windshield doesnt help much in a cross wind with blowing sand. I try to avoid areas where this is an issue when the wind kicks up, but sometimes it just isnt possible.

I got these last summer. They have the transition lenses and are padded so I keep them in the glove box and wear them everytime day or night. I got the pearl white to match but I believe they had a bunch of different colors. Downside is I wish they got a bit darker during the day cause a strong glare will still make me want to squint some. The finish is starting to flake off but for less than 30 bucks on eBay I'd gladly get them again.

Mine(Health Partners) wanted $190 for the frame(also Oakleys) and then $640 for the "special" rider lenses, seamed a little steep so i decided to continue to dork it out with goggles over my reg glasses while i look for another place to get riding glasses made.

this is similar to what I have been using - I have a pair of deWalt polarized safety glasses $20 at home depot. They are great for impact, but they are not sealed around the sides

I also wear the ones KayTwo refers to. In NS in summer w half helmet, and also in Fl in winter without a helmet. I buy them at a safety supply shop so they have both the safety glass and the foam around the outside.

My prescription glasses darken with the sun (old fashion glass lenses) and I wear them day and night, with a F4 5+ tinted windshield and when a helmet (3/4) a tinted face mask. And ride as much at night as during the day.

These are the Oakley M Frame 2.0. These are the Glasses issued to the troops overseas. Ballistic shield, Polarized and they wrap your eyes all the way around but do not fog up.
At night I have a clear set.
No Helmet....ball cap....let the bashing begin!
