I should have everything you need to zip the back apart and take the hoops off. I figure your looking for tools more than guidance. I'll be fairly busy but I'll bring you all the tools you need.
I will have tools - generator / air compressor and a hatchet in my trailer
I will have duct tape, baling wire and vise grips - you can fix anything with that
I made a few jumper plugs that plug directly into the factory seatbelt light harness under the drivers seat. This turns off the seatbelt light on the dash.
No cutting wires here...just unplug the harness and plug this in.
Can you share the components you used and maybe where you purchased them. I have a bad wire in my seatbelt latch and this would probably make the seatbelt light go off. Thanks
I think this should work for fouling the seatbelt light.
Look what landed on my porch tonight.
Looks like you will be busy tonight
Did you get the pink ones?
I asked about the pink ones but they said they sent their last set to Deltona.

Thought I would install them tomorrow, but when I opened them they didn't come with the rear mounting tabs, so I need to order the tabs or get the mounting bar.
Sorry for the delay....Let me check for you.
There will be pics up tomorrow. There are 25 in stock. I'm sorry i don't know anything about them. I've never seen or tried them for the Slingshot.
Fed Ex says my harness bar should be at my place on Thursday. I will try and get pics loaded that night so everyone can see them. I cut the plastic on my SS last time, this bar should make the install fast and painless.
That doesn't look like the same one from Bert's but I like it. Is that one from Slingmods? Looks like Rab's ride.
It does show up on the Slingmods site now and it's different from Berts..$249
As usual, some people will have a hard time passing up a "bar"
If anyone is on the fence about these things, please get them! I was absolutely shocked by the difference in drivability. Makes you feel like part of the machine. Seriously. You pull hard turns with so much more confidence it's nuts.
I got the belts in my hands today and have remedied this extra length by cutting the shoulder belt in 2 spots and then wrapping them like most other SFI racing belts. Doing this simple mod gives you adjustment all the way in or out as needed. I can now adjust them fully to the best length for myself and my wife.

If you bolt them down to the furthest bolt and wrap them around the roll bar it Will do the trick then the trim will cover it all.
