Hello everyone.
For anyone wanting to dress up their Slingshot, this is a small addition that makes a big impact. Adding these small items lends a lot toward a much better looking Slingshot.
These Gauge Bezels are easy to install and they come in a variety of different colors which should compliment other accessories nicely.
They're made from Aluminum and they're on sale until August 15th 2016. Enter code GAUGE10 at checkout to receive a 10% discount!
You can find the product here >>>>>>

I'll also talk to the guys about the problems here. If it turns out it's a product with a hit and miss reputation, we shouldn't carry it.

Thanks, think I will try mounting it right up front under highest point under the front dam . Will post back with my results. Not today though. 90 degrees 100% humidity.
Yeah, when you get around to it, don't forget to follow up. I want you to be happy.

@'slinging', thanks for checking on that.
Absolutely.

I purchased one of these units what a pain to calibrate. There is no way slingking you got it calibrated on the first, second or perhaps even 3rd try. I went with your recommendation on mounting it where you did and how you angled it. it is not very forgiving to say the least. I must have been under the car 15 times and still it isn't where I want it to be. The distance is almost acceptable but the height I can't get right. Was wondering why you didn't mount it right up front where it would be easier to adjust? Being that high up I would think wouldn't be a problem? My wife found a curb came out of nowhere like your video so I had to buy one for my piece of mind.
I'm sorry man. Mine did work on the very first try. I did assume however that other people would have a range of different experiences. I have my Slingshot lowered with the base size wheels. That's why I installed it back further so that it would clear the lower dam. I left mine on the default setting since it was the furthest point out. It went on and worked pretty easily. Maybe I got lucky. I didn't expect folks to have to many issues with them. Sorry. Let me know if I can help somehow.

I got a rear spoiler installed at Maggie Valley and my Polaris cockpit cover no longer fits, it looks like this might work. How small it will roll up, would it fit in the Polaris cockpit bag? Wouldn't be much good if it was too big to take on the road.
Sorry NightFlyer, it's not likely to fit inside the cockpit cover bag. I imagine you could stuff it inside one of the bins behind the seat, but that may take up too much space for you?.......

Let me check for you.

Would it fit a sling with a roof top but without corbins?
I think you're just yankin' my sack.

So @Ruptured Duck ....You are saying that just by changing the break pads that in your opinion the braking power got better?? Mine are mushy after 2 flushes and my next option was to break down and buy some brace that @slingking was talking to me about in SoCAL. This upgrade will help alone?
Sorry for the delay styln. Based on what you described, you'll benefit more from the bleeding procedure everyone is talking about. My brakes worked fine when I installed the brace, and the brace alone made a nice difference. However, if there's air in the lines, there's air in the lines and a brace won't make it much better.

Hey @slingking will that sucker fit over the Corbin bags and a stinger top?
Just for a chuckle I originally typed slingkong. Maybe I'll change my handle to Slingkong.Well Slingkong, lol.....I don't think it will fit. I'll double check but I'm pretty sure the answer is no.

Everyone,
I'm usually posting about something cool and exciting that makes the Slingshot look better, or go faster.
That may not be the case this time, but I'm still very excited to put this out to you guys!
Like many of you, I'm a maintenance freak and I like anything that'll potentially increase the life of the slingshot. That's why I always use great oil, and I don't miss intervals or other scheduled maintenance.
We recently partnered with Dimple Magnetic Drain Plugs to bring you magnetic drain plugs for the Slingshot's oil pan, transmission, and angle drive!
The drain plugs are direct replacements and very high quality. The magnets are extremely strong as you'll notice in the video. As Dimple's slogan reads "The stronger the magnet, the cleaner the oil."
Each drainplug features:
- extreme magnetism to rip the metal particles out of the oil and keep it out
- made under contract to insure they are always the strongest, best quality high temperature magnets in the world
- does not loose magnetism over 175 degrees like a ordinary magnets
- work easily in all hot engine environments
- dimple® magnets are guaranteed to work for the life of the vehicle
- made from a proprietary cocktail mix of Iron, Boron and Neodymium
This may not be the most glamorous looking of all mods, but it'll keep metal fragments from recirculating through the oil of your vital components. The way I see it, it's cheap insurance.
Check out the video below, and if you decide to make a purchase, enter code DIMPLE25 at checkout for 25%off of your purchase. You can find the product here >>>>>>Magnetic Drain Plugs for Engine, Transmission & Angle Drive for the Polaris Slingshot
