All I apologize, but I have not even had time to sit in it let alone diagnose the problem.
This work life balance sucks right now
That sucks buddy hope you get some free time soon!

Ok for those that have been curious we finally telracked down what is going on with my SS. Or precisely what is no longer going on my SS.
I can't thank my friends @Painter, @Dave@DDMWorks and most importantly the never fail me detective work of @Slingrazor the problem was located.
For those who don't know there are 3 MAIN fuses located in the battery compartment. 2 50 amp and 1 40 amp. One of the 50 amp is the Main Chassis fuse.
I am very lucky it just shorted and did not catch fire since they are directly under the tank!!!!!
My main chassis fuse shorted behind the fuse and melted itself to the mounting hardware. It burnt all the way through. Here are a few pics. Not great as it was hard to focus up close.
If yours dies, you lose dash lights, etc. check this fuse immediately!!
Sending pics to dealer on Monday. I would think such a thing would be covered by warranty
@SlingRider that sucks but sure am glad you guys figured it out
Was that circuit overloaded with something? Or is it an unknown? Of just a blown fuse?
Catastrophically blown fuse...
Good thing he didn't fall from the sky...
Display MoreHere is the video I was talking about.....accidentally came across it again! Couldn't find it searching for it!....lol
Can see in the comments he said the following:
In the end it was a burnt connection to the top fuse in the rear fusebox. After this was repaired, and a lot of the half-assed alarm wiring in the vehicle was removed, everything worked fine.
Might not be the same issue, but something to look at.
Ahhh....must be what this guy meant then. Top fuse in the Rear fusebox! I didn't know there was one back there! Makes sense to me now!

Couldn't have duh, it's a fuse not breaks or speed sensors
What? Too soon?
@SlingRider very happy to hear you located the problem and nothing overly bad resulted.
After my first SS had the factory untraceable electrical issue I have been very reluctant to wire much, if anything into my SS system. Heck there was a simple interrupter switch (ground side) for the outer lights that I have still not done on the new SlingShot. When time permits I'm doing a full self-contained fuse / relay block just for accessories that will have one ignition live wire relay to power it all on a separate circuit from the factory harness.
Yes, I'm that freaking paranoid...
The service manual calls that the J-Case fuse box but I've been searching for it and can't even find mention of it on the internet...it's listed in pictures of the Chassis wiring harness number 1
Only thing I have is the add on fuse box and a set of halos.
But yes a burnt top fuse. More like molten lava glue now

Glad you finally found the problem!! JEESH!!! That could have ended very badly given the amperage and proximity to the fuel tank!!!!!
I hope the dealer takes good care of you and Polaris steps up and does the right thing!! Keep us updated!!
Could also be fixed this way
Don't do it just kidding.

Thank you for the update, this is very helpful for future reference. Obviously a loose connection in the original assembly.
OH.. OH... Oh... I forgot the best part of the comments while everyone was onsite.
THIS WAS A CATASTROPHIC FUSE FAILURE.... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
You are now at the top of the search list!
