Is the center one on the hood from Zero Decibel?
Classy @mniron simple, quiet and clean look...love it!
Are front vents from a marine store?
Thank you, the front vents are snowmobile vents(easy to find up here in Minnesota)

Ahh, yup it is!!

Yes it is, powder coated to match the Pearl Red.
I want these... just can't see myself cutting through my own hood though... Maybe if there was a really good video.... but still.... ugh.... maybe if we drum up enough interest in Houston MiM we could make it worth someones time to come on down and hook us up...
I felt the same way about cutting in the hood. took me over an hour to convince myself to cut into after i had everything marked and tapped up. but after doing it and installing them love the looks of it.
I'm sure someone here has cut a hole in a metal car roof for an after-market sunroof at some point in time. My 1st was a 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury in the seventies. My buddy who owned it and I sat on that roof all afternoon with a drill, jigsaw and beer in hand getting up the nerve. We ended up getting it in in time for our date at the drive-in that night (remember them?).
Cutting this plastic seems like a breeze. Plus you can ultimately replace the part (at an inflated cost) if you screw up. I'll be back to this thread for these vents once I replace my wrecked Sling. Cheers!

Did you remember the movie or did you not watch it

I don't think I ever watched a drive-in movie except for the time my cousin and I snuck out and walked there one night and sat on the ground. We had no car or girls. We were twelve.
I do remember the girls though...
Although mines are not the same and are more for LOOKS... as less air travels through the opening. I measures about few times.... and started CUTTING - I figure if it isn't perfect....its not custom I don’t have much issues with the floppy fenders - magnets helped a lot, along with the middle sections cut out. That said I have only had it up to 95mph

Great job!
@MiM here you go:
ARCTIC CAT SNO PRO 500/600 RACER 08-11 Snowobile Vent Kit _ Middle BLACK | eBay
Uhh, can I click that link too? Do you get much rain infiltration through your center vents when you're not moving?

LOL, go for it! There is water infiltration but nothing that causes any issues but I always clean my engine bay anyway.
Thanks @mniron for the link, this will work for me since I have the JonV Turbo and the intercooler is above the fan (like Subaru's). All I have to do is reverse the vents to scoop air in and bring them more to the center, the only issue will be the structural rib underneath it's a solid X right there.
Oh well...something to think about.
Yeah, That looks so nice I'm not sure why you even have a hood. Just sayin'...

Fantastic looking!
OMG I just looked at the side by side of the two flats. Interesting idea using Craigs C6 flats but its gonna need some serious cutting of the skeleton underneath .
Beautiful for a ride and decided to video the fluttering fender cure;
