I did meet @dangerdarrell and I can attest to one thing, that's how he looks always.
Well we made it to Piedmont, SC where I am a mile from DDM Works for just a little more Sling love!! The whole week was just amazing seeing old and new friends. Didn't get to ride much cause I was busy with mods. Gotta thank Jeff at Welter Performance for hooking me up with a phenomenal rear exit exhaust, FINALLY gettin @mniron to put on my hood buttons (can't believe I waited so long) and finally @Dave@DDMWorks, @Slingrazor, @dangerdarrell and several others for making my new supercharger happen. Dave pulled strings to facilitate a SC cause I wasn't even scheduled to install one and Trent, Darrell and others took time from riding and partying to do the install. I keep saying it over and over that the vendors and folks on this forum are a special breed that are all above the rest. Sad Maggie Valley is over but Vail is on the horizon now and I look forward to makin as many friends in the West as I have in the East!!
Made it back home about 12:30 last night. Only got rained on twice for about 30 seconds the first time and about 5 min. the second. Just long enough to put on the rain gear. Pulled off after about 10 min. to take it all off.
Polaris quality is still in place. Pulled into my garage with the new 17 SLR I traded for in Waynesville and the reflector on the drivers side fell off in the floor. Pulled the other one off. Amazing that they still can't get some decent tape. Oh well. Never liked the reflectors anyway. Fell off my first one also.
Darrell, glad you and yours made it back safe and sound, we got in today, no rain. Just 92 degrees. As for your new ride, Polaris just likes giving us a little more for our money, like work putting things back on!

@sideslinger and I must have just missed you... We dropped our sling off at DDM for its "mommy makeover" a little while ago (would have loved to grab one last bite with both you and Angie)!
@Lorge and Christine met up with us for lunch before heading back (check out Twin Peaks before you go... good food, GREAT views)!
Drive safe Hun ~> Love ya both!!

Would love to have a cabin with a view like that. I did a little window shopping on the internet for a place and will need to do a little more searching. Where is your cabin?

Not "ours" just rented it for the week. Google maps.has it 20 minutes from MV. Turned put to be 55 minutes and 8 miles on a well maintained gravel road. It North of US74 between Waynesville and Sylva. 5300 feet above sea level!
Trying to post pictures and tag people in them. I have some in the ddmworks area. Bobby will have to show me how.

@Live-a-Little! Light Filled Cabin at 5300 ft with Stunning... - VRBO
just changed tire blow out number 1
That's what running at low speeds will do to ya.! Got to pick it up a notch...
Yes I am ok. Just a bit shaken up. Felicia said the front of the sling was about 6 inches from the rail when I was sideways. I have never turned a wheel side to side so fast in all my life.
Man just read the bad situation but good fortune. Glad everything is good to go!
Please be careful heading home if you are West bound on I 40. Got completely sideways at 60 mph facing a guard rail and by the grace of God got it under control and back on the road.
I second that! Be careful, glad your outcome wasn't worse.
