The sale price looks good.
Actually EJ, If I recall you did a set up something similar. Perhaps you should have come up with a patent?

Mine works but for the price I just might invest a little.
Has anyone ever installed these? Might make a great Christmas gift for myself from myself.
Yes, I have them on Sling I and Sling II. They do not work very good with the fenders installed, there is no air flow behind the fenders. But , as hot as the cockpit gets anything helps. You also have to have access to a 3 inch hole saw,

I have another vent set-up that even works better than EjFord 's. Pictures are on here somewhere

I made my own floor vents about 3 years ago. They work awesome. You can close them during colder months and open during hot weather.
I have done this to about 5 other friend's rides.

Nice work! Going to order the vents and air ducts (gauge mounts). No hurry to install at this point but will be a great winter project.
Many thanks for the install tips!
Edit: Parts on order now, thanks!
I bought this last year but wanted to wait until after this season to install because quite frankly I was worried it would be a bear to install. It dropped right in without issue! Removing the old reservoir was however a nightmare. The bottom nozzle crumbled and bits of plastic dropped down the hose. I had to removed a few parts to ensure nothing remained in the system. Then once all the plastic bits were accounted for, I was able to re assemble everything and do the install.
Where's the coolant reroute hose?
Where's the coolant reroute hose?
I still do not run the coolant reroute hose on either of my Slings. I have not seen the reason to do it.

Didn't do it on mine either until I went supercharged.
So yesterday I was not planning on working on the slingshot…….well the slingshot decided it wanted to be worked on. Go out to detail it and go for a cruise….let’s turn the radio on and bump some tunes. Solar trickle charger and everything lol the only thing that came on was the start button. Damn it
At least my local dealer had one in stock
......ok so was out with a few slingshot riders yesterday and one em found out that our steering wheels were loose and it was only on the ones who have replaced their steering wheels (including mines) , so today I took the steering wheel hub off and found that the steering wheel nut was loose, torque calls for 32ft lb so I guess that wasn't good enough, torqued it to about 42-45ft lbs and now it's nice and tight.......I'm guessing Vibration loosened it.....

Had one of those bolts for the quick release do that to me, kinda freaked me out as I was driving and wasn't sure how loose the others we're
I've been thinking I have something lose/wrong with steering on mine, might be a good idea to check that nut myself. What did it feel like? Just feels to me like I have more play up there now, hoping this is it, cheap fix

Thank you for posting this! This is one of those love-hate posts. Love that you posted it and made me aware of it but I hate that it is a ghost in the back of my head now. Going to go check mine too!

....I had no ideal mines were loose.....I drive mines with my music and ignore everything else lol.....it was just 4 of us but one of the guys who changed his steering wheel noticed his was loose ( he grabbed his steering wheel from the top & and just moved it up & down just a little, you will feel the play in it if it's loose ) than he checked mines and another and ours were loose also, so that led me to yesterday removing the hub for the disconnect and seeing that the steering wheel nut was loose, so I tightened it up beyond the 32ft lb spec....Temps going up to 70° Thursday I'll see how it feels than...
......had to drop my son off at his college today and he had the nerve to ask me how are we going.......now it's almost 70° and the sun is out ....how do you think we are going......not burning my 93 octane in my Genesis when I can burn rubber in my slingshot.....had to chalk that up to a stupid question.......
.....by the way my steering wheel feels much better since I tightened up that steering wheel nut.......
Dave@DDMWorks will the 4 piston calipers in red match the red on the rear big brake caliper? That combo is more affordable than the entire big brake kit.

The Wilwood red is a little different than the red we powder coat in house. There is another option if you want a rear kit to match the fronts though...soon
