Lights, tires, oil , filter, redline angle drive fluid, and Balaclava! 3 weeks to launch!
I have the DDM three-way adjustable shocks and would like to raise the Slingshot about an inch. Does anybody have any insight on how many complete clockwise turns on the adjustment this will take?
When we pack up for a trip it seems like I’m scraping just about everywhere.

If and when you raise the SS you will need to realign the front

Huh?? Increasing the spring tension to raise it up about an inch I would have to do realignment?
Starting my day...
what size and brand tires did you get?

everybody has their own preferences but I love these tires and I’m on my fourth set now. I got about 6 to 8000 miles out of them(rear) . Two rears to a single replacement on the front . They’re like Velcro on the road😎
they seem to be good everywhere. We do a lot of touring and a lot of back twisty roads as well. Also they’re a very quiet tire
Everyone remember to check their clutch fluid? This is what mine looked like this morning...
It's all good now...
Guess what I ordered less than a minute after I turned the lights on.... I thought my newer Canadian lights were white.
They will be tomorrow 🙃

I have my sling three years now. I've noticed every year & only when it gets really hot, about 100 deg. for a few days or so there was a drop (nothing more) of fluid on the garage floor. After time I noticed my clutch fluid just a bit low. My thoughts are that on those really hot stretches' the fluid expands enough that it expands beyond what the bladder can handle and pushes out the top cap. Again after three years this only happens on extremely hot stretches.

Well, it certainly gets hot here during the summer, but I've never found any evidence of leaks on the garage floor. I just didn't like how dark it was, so I'll be checking it regularly.

not at the shop right now, but I think if you compress the spring about 5/8” that should raise that corner 1”. I believe that is close to the ratio.

Thank you Dave! I went two complete turns on the ring and was surprised that gave me about 7/8”. Perfect!
I will measure again after our ride tomorrow. Again- I never get tired of complimenting your shocks! HUGE improvement!
Added a small white LED over the tire for some more visibility.
Tires, oil, filter, 4) 8000 headlight LED’s raised 1”Height overall , soldered all switchback light connections. 😎
Trick or treat!
Ruby got new shoes for Halloween!
All-weather P-zeros all 'round because I realized I do at least half my driving in cool or cold weather.
These things work great for quickly getting the Sling off the ground. I can either pull forward onto them or back onto them. All I need now is a third one for the back wheel, but I'll have to order that separately because the auto parts store wouldn't sell me a single one... lol 😁
