Was luckily able to find a local guy selling the bullet V top that I’ve been wanting. Only issue was he had an orange SLR so it had an orange stripe down the center. Local shop took care of adding a custom stripe for me and now canvas is back on. Bring on the sun

Tuning the QA1's today. Lowered them by 2 full rotations of the locking collars... about 3/4 inch.
Noticed when I installed them that they were 3/4 inch higher than the OEM shocks were. Ride was very 'floaty', especially around corners or on uneven or crowned roads.
Now back to more precise handling. 😀
Gonna get about 350 miles in on Friday - going to Little Rock & back. Then I may see about lowering them another 1/2 inch! 😁

If you are not at the original height you will need to realign the front

FunCycle is correct on that as you lower the ride height you will change the camber. Doc&Ruby have you tried adjusting the compression on your coilovers? I have the QA1 setup also. Down here in coon ass land on our rough roads with very little curves I run the back at 2 clicks and the fronts at 4 clicks. When I get to ride twisted roads I will increase the number of clicks till it feels good.

I've just brought Ruby back to her original ride height. Now I'll play around with the settings.
I'm currently at 4 clicks front & back. I'll try 2 clicks rear, 4 clicks for the front as Rob the Slob suggests for my Friday ride. Any other adjustments will be done just a little bit at a time!

I haven't been a member of this forum for very long and didn't realize until a few minutes ago that when you mention "Ruby" in your posts, you're referring to your Slingshot... lol 😊

The 'Captain' is the one that counts.

How was the install? There was question on what tops they worked with.

Install was not too bad. Maybe an half hour for the initial install then tweaking the racks out. My top does not interfere with the racks at all. They install to the original rollover bars. Sorry for the sideways pics

I usually stand on my head when taking pictures of my Slingshot...…………….. Glad the install went well what top do you have?

Thank you for the pics, the racks look great, but I gotta know because you really can't see in the pictures if that's an OEM Slingshade from Polaris?
