One of the most recognisable bubble cars, the Messerschmitt KR200 offered seating for two, one in front of the other. The plastic canopy guaranteed an unbearably hot cabin when the sun came out, but to counter this a cabriolet version was offered - the KR201.
I think if I was to really consider a sit-on 3-wheeler, I'd want a leaning one to get the true motorcycle feel.
Have been watching some of the Tour de France and it is the most use I have seen of the Yamaha Niken. They are using them as safety and camera bikes.
Have heard of some Police units trying them and where really impressed with their use in that capacity.
Weird thing is Yamaha US still has it listed as available but as a 2019 model. Don't know if they are still building them or just not sending new ones to the US.
Here's a real 'beaut for sale down near Monterey. It's a 1973 Electra King, all electric 3 wheeler with a claimed range of 40 miles and a top speed of 25 mph although the owner says the 'suspension' will keep you from going too fast. It can be yours for the asking price of $4,850 (personally, I'd make an offer). The hood ornament really finishes the package don't ya think?
....spent my day figuring out that some foreign debris got into the CVT on a 2020 Can Am Ryker 600 and was preventing the CVT Belt from tightening.......
......UPDATE......upon further research found out that foreign debris is a broken roller inside of the CVT (there are 2 of em, well 1 good one & one broken one) so now the owner which had this problem for months wants to sell because the job just got more costly smdh & of course he has no warranty.......my job is done!
