Who is going to be the first to break the 100k mark. Place your bets.

It has already been broken at least 3 times that I know of. The Yellow Bee Sling belongs to a gentleman that just traded his old Sling at 102,000 miles. The other Two of them were over 100,000 miles around 2016

I been asleep since 2016. Guess it's a good thought way to late. I guess at 25k i don't have to worry about the angle drive or the belt wearing out.
LC out

No, that is not something that you need to worry about. The first couple posted in late 2016 on the dark side at around 87,000 miles and had already made like 4 trips across the USA and was getting ready to do Alaska. The other was a guy out of Las Vegas

I did 100K last week. I don't see what the big deal is since that's only like 6.4 miles. Right Mr. Adams?

Place your entry for the 100,000 mile winner! Gotta see if I can find a 100,000 mile badge or something for the winner.
I get dibbies on FunCycle

A good friend Joe Bentz --- now from KY just bought his 3 Slingshot. Had 17,000 on a 2015, and just traded his 2016 with over a 100,000 miles for a new 2019 Slingshot. Joe is not on the Forum much but does attend lot of Rallies and is well know off the forum grid. There are several who have over a 100,000...not many. Only a small handful of Slingshots with over 50,000 miles on them. I surprised how many come up for sale with less than 5,000 miles on them, even 2015 and 2016 units.

I like driving mine but I’m not I a hurry to see that milestone. That means you’re getting closer to wearing it out...
The higher the mileage the less it’s worth...

Wrong attitude. The higher the mileage, the more fun you've had. I'm gonna run mine into the ground. Unless, of course, a smokin' deal comes along...

SlingLow that is how I ended up with Sling II, a deal that I could not turn down.
Three thumbs up FunCycle ! My attitude is to capitalize on opportunity. I was hanging out with Bu11sh1t at the hotel in Sundre, Alberta when I mentioned to him that Slingrazor put The Spirit up for sale. Literally one minute later the deal was made and it was sold! And I think I move quickly. I am flying to Texas this week to pick up a 2008 Corvette with 6,800 documented miles - 2,200 miles from home. I'll probably drive it until I'm 92 at which point I will likely be killed by a jealous husband. At least that's my plan...

If you remember, I also like my Corvettes, I just do not have one now.

why buy a rapidly depreciating toy if you are going to worry about what it will cost after using it.......
This is not a Bugatti, the only thing you will get out of it is the use you give it, the ROI on a slingshot is 0.5 at best so why worry about it.

This will be my 1st. The realization of a 44 year long dream.

That's what I call an expense.

I want to drive mine til the wheels fall off....but I don’t want it to die before I do.

Loosen the lug nuts to get there faster!

One thing about it, he cannot have both.

And you will sell Slingshot 1 for more than you paid for Slingshot 2.....sounds like a good deal to me. And anyone who know how FunCycle cares for a machine knows it's a supper unit.
That is a very good possibility, in my dreams

Hell, the brakes are brand new!!

Put 10,000 miles on mine last year and dropped the ball this year. Only went about 4,000. Plan on spending next year making up for it. Gonna do 15,000 next year. Don't care it its not worth a dime one day.
The friendships I've made and the places we've been have made the Sling priceless.
