Yes, I think Ivor said 300 Slingshots. Someone will have to speak up for sure. I heard a reg. number of 360.

studiopeg , please forgive me for giving a vote to the patriotic painted slingshot, airoutlaw and I both seen you would win by a landslide... and I couldn't let the patriot go without at least one vote... if I had to of chosen the winner by myself - that would've been hard... all three were beautifully customized machines. I'm glad you won.
I spoke with the owner of the patriotic sling. It was very well done and he deserved more votes. He won the light show so he didn’t come away empty handed That was super nice of you both to do that.

[/quote]At the party it was announced that we set the record with over 300 Slings in the parade. No one would say exactly how many. Guess they are waiting for the official announcement from the authorities.

Maggie Valley round trip (Home and back) equals 648 miles. Miles rode around Maggie Valley in 6 days equals 1,212 miles. Damn I had FUN, can we do it again next week? It was good to meet old friends and new friends and to ride together. MACAWS did your Sling hold up for the ride home?
Slept in the trailer all the way home.
I need another Vanilla Shake

Just got home.

I would also like to thank the forum family for a awesome Maggie valley experience.
It was great meeting you Scratch!

I sure hope it was one of our members here that got this - winning PowerBall ticket sold in NC $344.6 Million

Nope... reporting to work tomorrow.
-
I would be interested to know who traveled the furthest to be at Maggie Valley?
Did any of the California, Nevada or Arizona Slingshot owners make the drive?
-
We traveled 840 miles one way from down here in Louisiana.

Yep, didn't get to talk with the fella...
So don't know if he is on the forum...
But, "Surf's Up Dude" would be an appropriate forum name.

did they ride their Slingshot or trailer it?

Couldn't have had more fun. Wonderful people and wonderful rides. Had an absolute blast. It was over way to quick. I think I am quickly becoming irresponsible. There is one on here that knows exactly what I mean. Great riding, great sites, great people.

Made it home safely albeit a little soggy. Got into a toad strangler of a storm near the Ohio river, more cars parked on the side of the road with four ways on than driving.
Slowed us down a bit but drove on thru . Gotta say that Mean Sling sport top got some
Extreme real world testing today with sever thunder storm winds and GPS indicated speeds in the triple digits over a 450 mile run. As you can see it held up perfectly

Drove it...
With an additional external fuel tank...
Pulling a trailer.
