My guess ..... LE green and a LE yellow and more Sparco options and maybe the top

New "flamer" edition...
Thats's what it felt like driving the old ones in Florida before the heat kit.
-
Maybe they'll do an electric Sling..since that's one of the questions we get all the time
-
I hear there will be a new 2.0 motor, from Polaris if I understood correctly but maybe just big rumors but I heard 2.0 then later a turbo 2.0 but who knows
-
eco diesel that my guess.
No doubt!!! Since it is a GM motor, they will have to pair it with an Allisons transmission!!! A bunch of towing power then.

Was there any talk of changing the body style up?
-
Maybe this will come in a kit form soon.
-
Would be interesting to see is they could put together several option packages including seat options, custom colors, engine mods, lighting, etc that you could order and they build to a customer's request.
Field of dreams... they have a hard time getting it out the door with their list of required parts. -
Was there any talk of changing the body style up?
I have not heard anything however I will make sure you guys are the first to find out at the appropriate time

It looks like a car bumper..

Waiting to see what's coming. Very interested to know what is new & improved, but to be honest, I would echo everyone else here. Too much invested to bother with buying another one.
My personal thoughts on my Sling....
- Wear out the engine ---> Buy a forged engine with Turbo / SC, better yet a V8
- Wear out the brakes ---> Buy the Big Brake system
- Wear our the frame ---> Not sure how it could happen, but lets say it does.... fix it and keep on riding
- Swingarm remains an issue ---> Give in and Quad it up
- Sick of it's current look ---> Go for a body kit
There is nothing to the Sling that can't, or hasn't already been, reworked, redesigned or rebuilt.
There is no reason to step out of it, baring an accident, as this is the machine I want. Whatever Polaris thinks of is nothing someone else hasn't already done better in both quality & performance. If by chance they do reveal something truly innovative and new, it will likely fit on our Slings with minor modifications.
Their smartest move would be to let the consumer tailor their Sling appropriately at time of purchase. Let a buyer customize it from new and place all the features they want on it. Seats, polished hood panels (rather than the textured ones), fatty tire on the rear, Sparco detailing, etc, etc. Level out the pricing for all models, and have the extra's increase the value / cost of the machine rather than cosmetic purchases of SL, SL LE, SLR editions. Since there is no performance difference between any of these models, treat these machines as all base models with color options.

Everyone wants one of these because of the way it looks NOW...start making major changes and who knows what will happen...next they make the motor smaller, start cutting corners with cheaper parts and eliminating stuff. The old corporate greed thing ...worrying more about the bottom line than the product line..integrity
Polaris missed the boat by missing out on the aftermarket items..
Ask yourself this question....when you bought yours new did you pay too much, not enough or just right? Now ask how much you spent adding your brand to the SS?
As most, I'm would like them to concentrate on the quality control and fitment issues to Improve on the already great very sellable design.
How would you rate the SS overall 1-10?
I'm addicted to mine...if I don't ride it everyday I get in a bad mood.. seriously..
