Well, one thing's for sure - you're new name isn't going to be Mathematician. 25 is NOT an even number

11 minutes would be a record for me too.
might change mine to 7000lb so I can use it for my truck too. Not sure if the 5000 will work. My truck stats say it weighs about 5300
If you watch the video on the link page, you will know you'll be fine with the 5k.
So I wonder why the 5000 is used, when really, the jack/metal itself isn't in question here... It's the pressurized lift...
I know, marketing stunt... And I suppose the middle of the group with the 5k makes sense...

I am not sure but I think the only difference between the 3 lifts is the pump - the lifts are all the same.
Well, the wee bit of height added to one too... Maybe because of the pump?

And if you listen to the video he states that they had to install different hydraulics to be able to lift. The framing was the only part of the 5000 jack that they used. Most items of this nature are under rated. But if something fails because you exceeded manufacture claims, your dime.
3.5 and 5K have the same "arm" but the 5k has better pump
7k uses stronger hydraulic/arm but 5k pump
This is what i was told 5 months ago by sales ppl when i asked.

It really is not a marketing stunt, American manufacturers of lifts regardless of design normally have the failure rate 4-5 times the rated weight. Even though they never tell you to exceed the rated weight, this is called the safety factor. This holds true in all lifting materials such as rated chains, straps, cables and hydraulics.

Wait, 4-5x? So can I pick up a 6000# Silverado with the 5k jack??
The 7k is $100-$150 more, and I like the added security of knowing that when I'm under it. It's mind games,.. I know
They way this jack is made it is not the pump that keeps it up. Once you raise it up and put brace locks in place you can disconnect hydraulic hoses and unless it were just to break the welds I don't see any way it could fall.
