It all looks good. While you were "repaving the roads with rubber" I was in Tampa letting Noel and his magicians install my turbo. They were great and it is an all new machine now. @rabtech we need to talk turbos a bit, when you have time.
Didn't I tell you that it would be perfect!!!!
I knew when you described what you were wanting it would be just right....
Glad you like it. Ill message you tonight with my number and you can give me a call....I'll be back home around 5:30
-
Sounds good
-
I confirm that anything over 15 psi on the street is useless. I have toned it back down to 15, getting close to 20, the rear get upset easily at wot its crazy to leave it floored.
On a track though... 20 should be ok on race tires.

You were waaaaay behind me when I was doing the happy dance.....
That is so far back I cannot even see the blue lights, less more the happy dance going on in the your cockpit.

Only reason you passed me is cuz I was in 2nd gear and left my parking brake on and my quick disconnect steering wheel popped off and was in my hand and I ran out of gas and I slowed down to let a squirrel run across the road.

Dang that looks like fun!

Dang that looks like fun!
That it was! Better that 350 miles just on Sat. Skyway - Dragon - Blood Mountain in one day.

Hey rabtech, what kind of fuel does your setup like to drink? I have started receiving my turbo parts from Bill, still more to come. Have the DDM Works 2.4 on order. I have found a distributor that has some fuel choices from leaded or unleaded 93 to 118 octane. Just thinking ahead!!
-
Does he have jet fuel?
-
I have almost the same exact set up as @rabtech we are just running different exhaust
I use 93 octane pump gas. Honestly at this point I have more power than I can use. Hell of a lot of fun to drive. When you mash the gas you travel thru time. I don't think you need to spend any more on fuel that good octane pump gas.
Save the money for rear tires. I keep one on hand at all times, Routine maintenance every 3k = oil change and a rear tire. You will absolutely love the power!

3000 miles! You must really not have the kind of power I do! I get 1000 miles out of a tire! -
If I would have this kind of power I would have to go on my upcoming honey moon trip with my truck and the SS to keep all the spare tires.

funinthesun as close as they have to jet fuel is the 118 or Methanol!!
MACAWS I've got Toyo 888's on the way in a 325 for the rear, didn't actually need anything to make my ass look bigger, though thought it was a must! Will see how they work out before I start keeping another spare laying around warming the bench, itching to get in the game. Was in hopes 93 pump gas would be sufficient as it goes from $3.95 per gallon for unleaded 93 non eathanol to $7.95 for 101 octane! Didn't realize Methanol was so inexpensive $2.95 a gallon... -
DO NOT USE METHANOL OR JET FUEL. 93 octane is just fine. Also stay away from both E-15 and E-85 fuels. I always carry a bottle of octane booster in case I'm ever low on fuel and in an area that doesn't have anything better than 89 or 91 octane. Minimum requirements of 91 would still work if that's the best you can find. Plus you'll always be better off getting the ethanol free fuels if available. I haven't seen any in my area that's higher than 89 octane, although a lot of areas have it in the 93 as well
