Has anyone upgraded their horn?
If you have, what did you use?
Is there somewhere to get a plug that mates to the factory plug?

I went with the Flosser from Slingmods. Had the wiring harness to connect to factory.
Had to run a dedicated power lien from battery to up front.
Still working fine.

Been looking at horns for a while. We want something LOUD and unique. Have looked at a lot but still haven't found anything we really want. I have a set of Leslie's but she won't let me mount them on top of the hoops! LOL

Since the horn is usually used when the engine is running, you could also tap power from the alternator instead of running a separate line from the battery. IIRC, the factory horn circuit is fused for 10 Amps, so some aftermarket horns will need a relay and separate power line.

I just upgraded mine. Ordered off EBay for $15 and it’s super loud. I got the factory connector for like $8 and made my own harness.

Where did you get the connector from?

I installed a MARCO HURRICANE DEEP TONE COMPACT AIRHORN from Fox & Dragon
Used my old horn mount and shaped to fit near the firewall... it’s LOUD!

You can easily create a connection cable... but I just cut and wired new cables since I won’t be running my stock horn anymore. You’ll need a relay to power it (horns can draw high amps).

Posted some information about here...
If I have some time (which is in real short supply as of late), I’ll make a parts list and install video.

I don't know if I'm missing something??? I just cut the terminal off the factory horn wires and extended the wires to the other side of the head lights with a female terminal on both ends. Installed factory style horns just 10x louder. Works great...

One thing that needs to be done when posting any horn info is the DB RATING for the horn. You can say it is loud but that does not mean anything without the DB rating. I think there is a legal limit of around 110 to 120 DB with the exception being emergency vehicles.

That's exactly what I'm looking for.

I left a link above which had that info... or so I thought? Mine is 150dB (and legal enough to keep me noticed when people are texting and driving).

Polaris Slingshot Air Horn Kit - Plug N Play
I upgraded it and love it, its an air horn, its loud and works with the installed horn, so you get a duel tone. Scares the hell out of people lol
